So I have tried for 3 days to contact Reservations to cancel a trip I booked for my parents near the end of May. I have messaged through the Contact Me page on the website and it has been days and I have had zero response. There is no way to cancel through the email. I have been calling the reservation number for 3 days and I have not gotten an answer a single time until today. The connection with the guy on the reservations line was really bad, his attitude was giving off a could care less about your issue. Why should a hotel take %50 of the cost of your booking if you are cancelling over 2 months from the date you were supposed to arrive. I tried calling back multiple times to get information on how to contact management but he wont answer regardless of how many times I call or my mother tries to call. This was a Christmas gifts for my parents who cannot make the trip.. Unless you are %100 prepared to stay here do not book. It is impossible to communicate with a person, at least a person who cares about their job and customer service. Wilmington has plenty of amazing accommodations you could stay at in the same location. This Inn seems to not care about their customers. I wont recommend this place for anyone in the future.

This place definitely has historic character. I enjoyed my weekend stay. The staff was super nice. Very clean.I do wish the rooms had an option for a thicker comforter. I went when there was lots of snow, thank goodness for individual room thermostats.I think the only downside would be the Segovia room is surrounded by noise. On the main street/parking lot/restaurant. So, I heard EVERYTHING. (Honestly, I was so tired I fell asleep despite the noise.)For someone wanting a relaxing vacation, I’m sure there are quieter rooms in the Inn.Regardless, I would stay here again because of the atmosphere & great service.

The rooms have character and the staff have put an effort into making them comfy. We stayed in the Amsterdam room which was on the first floor. You have to walk through the Concorde coffee shop sitting area to get to the room. Staying upstairs would provide more privacy. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and the location of the Inn.

Update: The GM was promptly in touch with us following our stay. He was very responsive to feedback and was kind enough to refund our stay. From what we have gathered, you should be able to find a relaxing experience inside one of the interior rooms or at their sister property. Our room was beautiful and my husband and I splurged on the Zermatt Suite for our Anniversary. There were areas in need of improvement.Parking was confusing as the small parking lot for guests was roped off with customers for the espresso bar standing in front. We tried parking next door but needed to drive around the block as there were no spots while we called the inn for more info. Our check-in process was simple as they had preloaded a code after walking through the outdoor area of the espresso bar. We were immediately disappointed to find that our door was directly behind a wooden partition with a Restroom sign pointing to the right of our door. Once inside of our room, the interior was beautiful but the noise from the bar continued. We could hear every beat and bang from the kitchen and every time a customer banged on a bathroom door. This continued in the bathroom as every time a customer flushed in the bathroom next door or water was being used our shower would turn cold making every shower frustrating as the bar bathrooms were in constant use. We left the inn to make a dinner reservation and returned to a very busy crowd to weave through as we walked past to enter our room. The bass from the music could be felt through our walls and did not stop until 11:40. Unfortunately, this started again at 7:30 AM the next morning when the bar opened for the next day. We laid awake and listed to the shouts, conversations, banging of doors and dishes, loud music, and continuous filling of ice buckets. We tried to enjoy some peace by turning on the fireplace and TV to watch a movie but the sound of the bussing electric fireplace was so loud that it was distracting and needed to be turned off. Suddenly power to our room was turned off while the bar continued to have power as if a breaker had been flipped to our room. Once all customers had gone home and the music finally stopped, we tried to sleep but the outdoor lights and porch lights from the bar had been left on and our room was filled with light from the windows leading outside that are above and around our room. This made it incredibly difficult to sleep making the early noice from the bar incredibly frustrating. Our stay was far from relaxing. The staff was friendly and the room was beautiful but we would not recommend The Zermatt Suite for a relaxing stay at this time.

These rooms were awesome for a girls getaway, we all had our own space, in a good part of town, walkable to everything. If you want more privacy, I recommend the upstairs rooms, because you have to walk through the coffee shop to access the others. Easy self check-in, clean, and free parking on site.Negatives: The comforters are super light and there was no extra blanketing, so if you’re cold nature, bring extra blankets. It wasn’t clear that a free coffee was included, so we paid for our own. I also think that residents should get to have cocktails without a reservation, very strict about that.Overall, it’s so much more unique and cozy compared to a chain hotel.

Great location. Close everything you need for a lovely weekend. Room was a bit bare but had the convenience of a small refrigerator and microwave which was nice. Even has a lil coffee station. Breakfast was nice there was a nice mix of stuff. Staff was friendly. The bed was super comfortable omg we slept comfortably. I’d stay here again.

I was thoroughly impressed with this hotel! It was clean and fresh. The hotel room had not only a refrigerator but a microwave which was handy. There is a customer appreciation activity Monday through Thursday from 5 to 7 PM where complimentary refreshments (alcoholic snd soft drink) and snacks are served. There is coffee available 24 hours a day and a plentiful hot breakfast each morning. We will definitely be back and recommending this hotel.

We were just in town overnight. This is a nice enough hotel. The four stars is because I'm not fond of carpet of any kind in hotels anymore. It ALWAYS feels damp and dirty to me and this room was no exception. Hotels need to put in LVP (I know tile is too expensive) when they remodel these days. The bed was quite comfortable and both my husband and I slept quite well. The water pressure in the shower was great. The complementary breakfast was just ok. The staff was very quick to respond, via text, when I asked a question on numerous occasions, and they were friendly upon check-in.
