The three stars is just a gym review. It’s really a 2-star gym at best. They have treadmills, stationary bikes and stair-steppers but not much else. They have dumbbells up to 65 lb. and smaller kettlebells and hand weights. There’s this weird cable machine that I wonder if anyone uses, a rack of balls that probably don’t ever get used and exactly one workout bench. Worth noting that they do have a refrigerator with bottled water. Nowhere to do a pull-up or bench press (except with dumbbells). Very small workout area aside from the bikes, treadmills and stair steppers. For a nice hotel this is a lame gym.

What a beautiful and historic hotel. Truly something to be seen. I lived all my young life in the Milwaukee area and never knew of the Pfister Hotel. We found the room rates very reasonable, so we rented a suite for 5 nights. We enjoyed a nice view of Wisconsin Ave during Christmas season with all the lights and holiday decorations. Hotel staff, Cafe servers and bartenders were all very courteous and friendly.

Upon arrival we were greeted by one of the most courteous and helpful people ever. Vlad was incredible from the beginning of our check in until the end and is such a positive ambassador for this beautiful property. I watched how he handled others with the same genuine passion for his job as he did with us even. He suggested places for dinner and to our delight we had one of the most amazing experiences at that restaurant based on his suggestion. The hotel lobby is beautiful and there is a strong sense of pride throughout the staff that matches the elegance and beauty of this grand hotel. Our room was on the 21st floor of the tower. It was a fantastic room with details that give it the elegance it deserves in a hotel like this. Our view of the lake was stunning and we found that spending time enjoying the view with a glass of wine was a welcome change to experiencing it from the ground level. We had drinks in the lobby lounge and our waiter also showed the same level of customer service the front desk did.My wife and I were looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating night away and our stay at the Pfister was the perfect remedy. The property and customer service were second to none. The picture is a view from our room.

We came here for my wife's birthday and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable. We ended up in a presidential suite with a beautiful view of city and lake in the background. The staff made sure to wish her a happy birthday ar check in with a glass of champagne which was fantastic. We did dinner in the hotel restaurant and was delicious!

Getting a drink in the first floor bar was a challenge. The hotel was very busy so that may have been the problem. The room, the spa, and the other services were great. There were issues with the bill at the end, which the hotel did a good job resolving. A great Milwaukee Hotel.

This is supposed to be one of the best hotels in Milwaukee so of course I wanted to stay here on my trip. The first floor lobby area is gorgeous. The banquet halls you can rent out for weddings and events are really nice as well. Everything else leaves a lot to be desired. You are paying $400 or more for a room that doesn't have much going for it. The mini fridge was weird. I don't think it was working properly. There was no microwave. We asked for one to be brought up and they literally handed it to us with no cart or cabinet to put it on. Like really? Just going to hand me a microwave? Nothing special about the rooms. They are very small. You can get a better room at the Marriott for half the price. The parking is horrible. You park in a parking garage that has no where near enough spaces for all the guests at the hotel. So if you happen to leave, good luck getting your spot back when you return. You also have to pay extra for the horrible parking. Definitely not worth the money. You're just paying for the prestige of their name. If you want to see the hotel just walk through the lobby, there's really nothing else to see anyways. The rooms couldn't be more basic.

Again, I would like to thank you so much for the lovely time at your beautiful mansion. My only regreats are that my granddaughter got sick and we all missed your delicious breakfast you had planned for us.Laura Sue, you gave a wonderful presentation during our Mollies high tea. You even kept my 8 year old twin granddaughters interested. You and Rick were so welcoming and kind. At every request, you two were there and even giving more. I was so impressed when my granddaughter and I came down to tell you we would not be staying for breakfast, Rick, you were so generous to offer peppermint to my granddaughter who was complaining of a stomach ache. She loved the tea and the care you gave. We will be back to enjoy the entire experience soon.

So the bed and breakfast is beautiful but some of the staff is rude. Here's a tip, if you want customers you shouldn't be rude to them on the phone. If they are asking you questions about prices maybe don't snap at them. I feel like that's common sense but I guess common sense isn't so common.

Delightful Details! The Scheuster Mansion is easy to find and close to downtown activities but located in a quiet neighborhood w plenty of parking on the street or a small lot behind the mansion for overnight guests.I have not stayed overnight here but have walked about the Serenity Suite on the 1st floor which is an excellently laid out smaller multi-room space w an excellent use with a cozy & calming feel. This space is appropriately named & includes includes a duo tub w jets, a sitting parlor & a bathroom off the bedroom in suite. Both times I've came to the Scheuster Mansion, my objective was to enjoy a relaxed, immersive, & memorable time with dear friends for Mollie's High Tea.Unlike other high tea options, you are not limited to a single selection of a personal pot of tea that you must hope you chose well or regret. Rather, much to my group's delight, each season a selection buffet of 7 teas are featured to sample at will & homemade berry preserves & Devonshire quality cream are delicious accompaniments to the half-dozen savory & sweet treats.Mollie's tea is unique in that it accompanies monthly themed historical topics of interest & a Q&A period in addition to the culinary experience. In summer I attended Victorian etiquette & the Language of Fans & last weekend was the history of Mr Scheuster, the original owner. My young adult daughter accompanied me to the 2nd tea time & thoroughly enjoyed her visit as well. I've attended Summer & Fall & look forward to opportunities to experience Mollie's High Tea in both Winter & Spring in the future. The decor for Christmas is elaborate and the attention to historical accuracy & detail is delightfully designed! Highly recommended experience to step away from the frantic tech-driven world outside back into a more sensorily satisfying step back into the delights of the past!

Twice now we've been to Molly's Tea. Each time was unique with different teas, sandwiches and pastries, always outstanding! The history & etiquette stories round out the whole experience. Both times made for lovely afternoons.

Some friends and I came for our second Mollies High Tea because we loved it so much the first time and wanted to see the mansion decked out for Christmas. We even brought our young adult daughter to share the fun and it was worth every penny. From the atmosphere, history, etiquette, and stories, to seven teas and delicious food. We left with our hearts full from the beauty and the wonderful conversations we experienced. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay and Mollie's Tea experience at the Mansion! Laura Sue and Rick were so personable and even joined us for tea after breakfast! Our breakfasts were exactly what we wanted, the Mansion was beautiful, the tea was so unique and tasty (and we got to try all 7 different teas!), the Devonshire cream and homemade jam were delicious, and the stories and etiquette lesson at tea were so engaging. We hope to be back with loved ones soon. Thanks Laura Sue and Rick for a memorable anniversary stay!

Today we enjoyed a simply marvelous high tea at the Schuster Mansion. Laura Sue prepared a beautiful (and delicious!) stack of goodies for us to enjoy - which we certainly did! She was a wonderful hostess who joyfully shared stories about the mansion and decorating it with us. After picking out all our special teas -- and the special cups we wanted them served in, we proceeded to a beautiful dining table in a cozy period-decorated alcove. Laura Sue then left us to enjoy the feast ... but was immediately available for service whenever we rang the delightful "service bell". We gleefully devoured all the goodies and even tried to get some of her recipes. We felt totally relaxed and never hurried. Afterwards, we all hurried back to the gift shop to purchase some of the delicious teas, honey and small gifts. We left happy - and are already making plans to return!
