I really enjoyed my stay at the Eagle Inn. The neighborhood is beautiful right next to the ocean and the funk zone. The room was small, but cozy and there was a big deep tub with jets. The sheets were very soft and comfortable, and there was a fireplace and a big TV. I really enjoyed everything on top of it. The breakfast was brought to us the next morning, exactly when we asked for and it was really Delightful. Thumbs up 👍🏼

From the beginning, the service was exceptional. When I called to inquire about details of my room, she made sure that I had all of that information. I was driving there from southern CA and was able to have an early check-in which was so appreciated. My room was amazing, and I can’t wait to return! Finally, I could only stay two nights, and had to leave at 4:30am. The kind breakfast room lady fulfilled my complimentary second breakfast the day before by giving me “to go” cups of yogurt, fruit and granola. This is a family-run hotel, and their kindness and excellence reflect that. Again, I will be back.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. We experienced great, friendly service! Our queen bed room was comfortable and neatly furnished and decorated. The Eagle Inn is located just a short walk from the Amtrak station in a pleasant and quiet residential area. The breakfast was tasty and served quickly with a smile. Our room had a K-cup coffee machine but we chose to use the excellent espresso machine in the lobby instead. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and we recommend staying here!

Such a nice small boutique hotel. We stayed 3 nights. Rooms were spacious and a fireplace was an added bonus! Breakfast was very nice. The menu changed daily (limited menu) and each day the food was great. Used the bikes at hotel free of charge. Location was perfect- close to beach, harbor and wharf. Easy walk to State street as well.

This was our first trip to Santa Barbara and it did NOT disappoint! The Eagle Inn was in a perfect location - we mostly walked everywhere including right down to the Wharf and beachfront. A lovely street that is very quiet. Free parking included. Very warm and welcoming staff. The included breakfast was fantastic. We stayed in the San Clemente Casita and it was perfect! Great bed, lovely gas fireplace next to it, lots of room.We do plan to come to Santa Barbara again and will for sure stay at the Eagle Inn.

What a lovely surprise this place is. We stayed in one of the King Suites - 116C and it was a home away from home, full kitchen, comfy sitting area with fireplace and supportive King bed. The hotel has a ton of charm, our room had many original vintage features but also climate control (heat and air), blackout shades/curtains, and a walk-in closet. The Inn is locally owned and operated and it makes all the difference - the room was exceptionally clean, windows sparkled, ceiling fans virtually dust free and lovely white linens and towels. The outdoor seating areas were comfortable and clean and a great place to catch some sun as the beach was a bit cool and breezy during our trip. There are fruit/snacks available in the office all day and they have everything you might need for a beach vacation available for guest use at no charge - towels, chairs, bikes, boogies boards, and sand toys. This is a very walkable location for the beach and State Street attractions. Tons of great restaurants and bars are a short walking distance away. There's a fantastic yoga studio near lower State Street that I was able to walk to every day, as well. Thank you for a truly wonderful stay. 🙂

CLASSY! I felt like I was staying at someone’s home, not a hotel. Gorgeous rooms with well equipped kitchens. Wonderful staff! Free bikes and beach stuff. Well located, close to State Street and the beach, but very quiet. Two robes, two suitcase holders, a safe, good coffee and cream in the room, beautifully decorated, fruit and snacks in the lobby. Walking distance from the train. I will definitely stay here next time I am in Santa Barbara. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! It was a pleasure to stay here!

Our room is so clean and beautiful. We love the color combination and all the furnitures in the room. The host is nice, kind and attentive to our requests. They offer free bikes to us as well. The hotel is just a short distance from the beach and the Wharf. Definite one of the best places to stay in Santa Barbara.

Look no further - Harbor House Inn is where you need to stay in Santa Barbara10/10 in ever aspect: Rooms, service, location, quality, cleanliness, bikes, ambiance, you name it, the Harbor House excels at itWe’ve stayed here a number of times and the experience has been flawless, Cody is exceptional, a great guy and extremely hospitableThe rooms are charming and equipped. We recently spent a week here and at the end of the trip we wanted to just move into the room and live there. Kitchen fully stocked, fresh coffee, it’s like homeYou can walk everywhere from here. They have bikes and beach equipment to take out. This is the best location in Santa Barbara, right by the water, quiet and residential, but still right near State St. with plenty to do.Highly recommended. Thanks Harbor House Inn!

A wonderful, family-owned inn. The first time I visited, I met the mom and son behind the registration desk. Both they and their staff are very friendly and helpful. They stock complimentary water and snacks (including healthy options like bananas and oranges), and you can borrow their set of bikes for a ride around town! The parking area is small (may be tight for large vehicles) but you can also park on the street. The courtyard is pleasant and well-maintained, and the rooms are modern while retaining a charm that's increasingly rare.Highly recommend!
