Hidden little gem of a Marriott Vacation Club tucked away in a quiet corner of Williamsburg. Close to everything but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet.

We truly did enjoy our stay. We had a beautiful 2 bedroom villa that was spacious, beautifully decorated ans well equipped with anything you can need. The pools were very nice, and glad to see there was an outdoor pool open! The onsite activities were wonderful! My kids LOVED the movie theater. However, I removed a star for two reason. The Bistro 1699 food was horrible. Truly microwaved food and almost ediabble. PLEASE fix this! The resort is a bit isolated so honestly limited restaurants unless you drive 10-15 minutes. We did enjoy food at country club next door and I'm so thankful for that !Another was the sales calls. Upon check in I advise front desk I was not interested in any sales calls to buy a vacation club. I received a DAILY call across my 4 day stay which ignored and told the front desk again I was not interested. Since I didn't answer any cell calls they eventually called my room ! Which at this point feels like harassment!!! I was so angry ana frustrated. I've stayed at two other vacation club resorts MUTIPLE times and never felt the insane amount of pressure from the onsite sales team. So frustrating.

The Manor Club is really nice however a few things are concerning to me. 1. We get a call from their sells team Angela who I feel could have called me before we got there to set up a sales pitch. She calls me when we’re headed to our daily activity and gives us until 5pm to get back to get a $25 card for our time. Really? You want me to stop what I’m doing on my vacation for your sales pitch? And get back to the club right away?? My fault! I should have disconnected then, but we were interested. 2. We go to the pinch the next day and they had us waiting 20min as if we have time to waste on our vacation. We hear the unorganized, badly explained pitch and they wonder why we didn’t buy. Then the Second lady comes in and she’s just as sloppy with her poorly prepared pitch. 3. The icing on the cake. They sent me a text message about check out that said and I kid you not. Please take out your trash to help housekeeping 😳I’m on vacation!!! They said it’s not mandatory??? Then why mention it. I haven’t seen housekeeping since I checked in and I’m not bringing out the trash or running a dishwasher! I’m a guest not an employee. Even if I thought about coming back, or buying into your club, you just ruined it for us. No thank you! I don’t clean when I’m on vacation and please get your team to stop wasting guest time if they are not organized and ready to go. People have stuff to do on vacation. Lastly, don’t think for one minute because you offered a little incentive, I’m at your beckon call. Respect people’s vacation time. Thank you,

This was one of the best, most well-equipped, family-friendly places we've ever stayed traveling with kids. The property is beautiful, the rooms well-furnished and up to date (though with a distinctly "colonial period" feel), and the staff accommodating. As a "vacation club" concept, it's clearly geared toward families -- and in that respect they deliver. Activities available throughout the day (movies in a reserved theater room, smores on the fire pit, games, etc.), a game room with lots of options for kids, mini golf, pools, etc. Our only regret with this spot is that we didn't stay here additional nights during our trip. Highly recommend. One additional note: we visited during the latter portion of the off-season, which provided a spacious experience at a good price. I'm guessing (but don't know for sure) that during the busy season, both the economics and the guest density change substantially. But in the late spring anyway, this place is fantastic.

I was really looking forward to my stay at Marriott’s Manor Club at Ford’s Colony. The property itself is peaceful, with a charming layout and great potential for a relaxing getaway. Unfortunately, my experience with one of the front desk associates left me genuinely confused and disappointed—and it’s worth sharing for fellow travelers considering this location, especially if you’re doing a trial stay with the vacation club like we were.Early one morning, I went to the main area to grab a coffee and hopefully catch the sunrise. I asked the concierge/front desk if there was a good location on the property to view it. The response I got was, “I live in a box.” Thinking I misheard, I asked again, and the associate repeated it. I asked if he was a concierge or if he had access to information to help guide guests, and he explained that he was front desk and dealt primarily with vacation club membership support—not guest guidance—before stating that “most people who come here don’t want to see other people.”The entire interaction felt dismissive and incredibly awkward. When I tried to move on and just pay for my coffee, I was told, “I don’t care about the coffee,” only for him to then ask for my room number to charge it anyway. While this may have been an isolated interaction, it stood out in all the wrong ways. When you’re in an unfamiliar town, you rely on staff to offer insight and hospitality. A simple question about where to enjoy the sunrise shouldn’t be met with sarcasm or resistance. Especially at a vacation club property where one might be considering a long-term investment, service matters—and this left a lasting impression.I’m still open to giving the Marriott Vacation Club a chance in another location, but I’ll be more cautious about where we try next.Ps: driving to the country club and catching the sunrise wasn’t what I was looking for- but it worked in a pinch.

This is a high quality facility. Our room has high ceilings, everything seems new, comfortable furniture, massive master bathroom with a whirlpool, expansive double sink and private toilet. I could live here it’s so beautifully done and roomy. Golf course runs right behind our building, a green is immediately outside and below our back porch.

Every couple years my family like to take a big family vacation there is 17 of us. First getting here the elevators were down and let me tell you it was so hard watching them struggle and they refuse to have you help them not even sure why we have people with disabilities on the top floor, but I guess that makes sence to them. Also my 4th day being here the AC doesn't work and it's 90 outside then when we get back from a very hot day we are told we can't use one the showers. Again I have 17 people we came as a family and expected us to just separate or to move or stuff across the way.THEY ALSO HAVE A GUY AT THE FRONT DESK WHO HANGS UP ON YOU WHEN YOU TELL THEM HOW YOU FEEL. JUST RUDE VERY DISAPPOINTED AND SAD HOW THEY DIDNT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE'S STAY!!! Also just the rooms thet self you can tell they dont care/keep up with it.

Very nice rooms. Great amenities. Full kitchen with lots of storage. Only complaint I have is someone plugged their electric car into our outlet and had an extension cord balled up all over the patio/walkway. Definitely recommend!

It's a comfortable place to stay if you plan on visiting Colonial Williamsburg, William and Mary, or Busch Gardens. We had 6-7 people at a time in a 3 bedroom 2 bath deluxe with a sleeper sofa. I can see they have recently painted and they keep it clean which I appreciate. I booked a handicapped room just to make sure we got a downstairs unit as we had some elderly in our group. Upon check in we were notified they could not honor the handicapped room I booked (as a timeshare owner 6 months in advance) but could give us downstairs. Honestly we would have gone somewhere else. I have walked the stairs here and they are a workout. You can hear the people over your head as in kids running. If this bothers you get a top unit. I slept with a fan and it was fine. The staff are great if you need extra towels, blankets etc. The grounds are pretty. It's fun to walk around the little pond with the fountain and get your steps in. They had a wonderful fire one night we stopped to warm up at and it was lovely. The property is safe and I saw no bugs👍
