Ok, so when we arrived there was construction on the building. I have to say that I was not impressed by the looks of the outside of the building with the drab dark colors that it's painted. I am SO GLAD that once inside things were different! I walked in and the smell of "cleanliness" hit me in the face and that made me happy! The signage made it easy to find where we needed to go to check in. The check in process was a little "shaky" but we got through it. The room was clean and well maintained. The bed and pillows are nice and I was excited that the shower worked well and drained well. The staff were all amazing, friendly and eager to help. Misty went above and beyond to solve a couple of problems for us. The breakfast ladies were outstanding, as was the food options available. If you go away hungry, it's on you!! If you are looking for a place to stay - you'll get more bang for your buck here than anyplace else I can think of!!! THANK YOU ALL for the first successful hotel stay for me in a very long time. It is appreciated!!

We enjoyed our stay. Here are the details:Room is clean but in need of remodel. Beds are very comfortable with good pillows. Comes with mini fridge and microwave. Fridge was unplugged when we entered which was a nuisance as it wasn't ready to use when we came in with leftovers. Carpeting is worn out and room was musty everyday once you shut the window.Breakfast was great. Eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, muffins, fruit, etc. Scrambled eggs are very good, not runny. There is a managers happy hour with 2 drink tickets per adult. Nothing fancy but a nice thing to do before going out to dinner.Location is excellent. Right off highway, safe area, plenty of parking, near stores and restaurants. Hotel also has a nice courtyard with pool, close for our stay in October though for obvious reasons.Hotel is starting some remodel, so hopefully the rooms will get updated. Right now front entrance is getting redone.Good stay for the price.

Not sure where the 5 star ratings came from. It's an ok hotel in an ok location. Room was pretty worn with stained carpet. They might want to get new vacuum cleaners. My carpet felt chunky on bare feet...stuff that didn't get vacuumed up. Probably not somewhere I'll stay again. Good location, quiet, and nice staff but I can't get past the rough room quality. Sorry. Breakfast was nice.

One night stay on road trip to see family. The building is dated but elegant in a way. Probably a stately kind of upscale in its hayday. Color schemes are wood and darker colors than we would use today. Property is well taken care of. Not even a hint of mustiness, for an old building. Extremely clean. Rooms were very clean. AC was solid. Shower worked as expected. Sofa was clean. Free hot breakfast had a balance of hearty options and healthy options. Dining area was midsized and nice. The man working the breakfast counter was jovial and warm and had obviously worked hard to make the food and experience good. Outdoor pool was cleaner and so well maintained that it was better than indoor pools Ive seen. The pool area is actually a courtyard and is also very well maintained and cozy. Has a villa type of feel. Check in and out was smooth. Glad to see someone putting some effort into one of these older places. Hard to find these days. Especially at that price point.
I cant say enough great things about Endeavor Inn & Suites! I'm a huge fan of hotels that have great pillows! There is nothing worse than traveling and paying for a room with terrible pillows! Comfort is everything, especially when you're exhausted from a long road trip! Waking up refreshed is important after such a long drive. No cramped neck due to terrible pillows! The pillows are amazing and the beds extremely comfortable. Quiet atmosphere for a good nights sleep! The A/C worked great! We arrived very late into the evening and we were both exhausted from a 9 hour drive. Check in was smooth and fast! Traveling with pets can be challenging, especially when trying to find a pet friendly hotel within budget! Endeavor took care of us! Due to my son heading off to college, our truck bed was packed to the max with boxes. I felt a little uneasy leaving our valuables unattended overnight. The hotel clerk suggested I park in the front under the light and in plain view of the cameras. I did just that and our goods were all just the way we had left them. In the middle of everything, last minute pick up items is convenient! A complementary breakfast to start off the morning is a great addition to an overnight stay!**They also offer veteran discounts when booking directly through their website! An added bonus for all active and prior military! I'll definitely be staying at Endeavor Inn & Suites again!I recommend Endeavor Inn & Suites to anyone traveling (especially with pets) to or through the Topeka, Ks. area!

Great stay at a clean, comfortable hotel. The bed and shower were excellent. The only cob was the very limited breakfast. I skipped it altogether as the options were so slim.

The location of this Super 8 was off the beaten path, so very quiet. I felt very safe in the lobby and my room, and even the parking lot. I was super impressed by the cleanliness of the entire hotel. I will be choosing to stay at this hotel the next time I find myself Topeka.

I read the requirements and booked the rooom through expedia. When I arrived the cash deposit was FOUR TIMES higher than the website says. Requiring $190 NOT $50 as the website stated. I know it's a deposit and I get it back but the lady wasn't even polite about it, actually came off as rude and even more rude. Did I mention the lady checking us in was VERY RUDE? I prefer being told before I arrive exactly what to expect and to be at least welcomed the staff instead of a pain in the ***. I'm disabled, on a cane and working on getting brain surgery. You should make sure your expectations are fully disclosed prior to someone's arrival and have staff that are capable of working with your guests without these attitude issues. Your staff sucks, and are easily annoyed by people with disabilities.

I am only giving it a 3 stare for simple fact they help me print off a flyer I forgot and made sure we got connecting rooms. At 4 am people above us either started working out or had kids running around woke us all up thinking it was storming out. The bed is really uncomfortable. The "hot" breakfast is not kid friendly at all. No kid wants rasin brain or corn flakes. Or activia Yogurt only had banana muffins and waffles.

This is a budget hotel that seems like a budget hotel. The staff is nice and everything is clean is not noisy. It’s safe to park your car there and those are the important things. Everyone was pleasant. Our TV did not work and someone came in to fix it, and they were very pleasant and I was actually surprised that he could get it to work. it’s actually very surprising how many skills the workers at these small hotels have to have to make it run. We appreciate that however, the TV was broken and it would’ve been nice to get a slight discount because of that the property is tired. One of the biggest suggestions I would have is to change the curtains on the front windows of the hotel. They are shabby and it makes the entire entrance look like a haunted house. That simple make a difference as you look in from the outside also although we don’t expect much of breakfast, it was lackluster
