Me and my fiancé booked a room with the jacuzzi on March 11, 2025. While booking it said what time would we be there and we put 10 am. We had the room for one day. Day of we woke up early and head to the place around 10. When pulling up, it was kinda sketchy. Everyone was outside and doing their own things. While checking in, person 1 said our room wasn’t ready then I asked around what time would it be ready he said 10-20 minutes. I went back to the car and waited a bit till the time. I saw him go to a room. Then after 10-20 mins went by I go back in and person 2 said our room wasn’t ready till 11 or 12. I was kinda confused so I told him the person before told me a few minutes and he said that person is new and didn’t know what he was doing. We went to get breakfast and came back around 12 ish. Our room was ready. Got into the room. The room was good but, some spots of the room had light mold and holes. It made me feel grossed out. When we were using the jacuzzi only ONE JET was working. The shower curtain was not clean and had a giant hole where the circle goes onto the bar. The bed was UNCOMFORTABLE. The pillows were dirty and the towels had small minor stains from makeup or dirt. The room had a funny smell. The toliet paper holder was the worse and the bathroom door didn’t lock the lock part was missing. The cabinets were disgusting had like bubbles and holes and were not possible to open. When checking out we left really early around 6 am because we couldn’t sleep and was dissatisfied with the whole place. Apparently we didn’t put a deposit which I called day of it was a $50 deposit. I would NOT come back here.

Do not stay here!!! The pictures are completely different than the room we got - different layout, furniture, bathroom, everything! First of all- this place was filthy. The beds were stained, the “new towels” were dirty. I didn’t even want to sit on the bed. It looked like someone had barricaded themselves from inside at one point. We got here after a long day at Disneyland (it was about 1 AM when we checked in) and immediately when we saw the room we started calling around for any hotel around that had availability. It was that bad. The room was against a noisy street and a busy business across the street blaring music. This place is NOT worth the cheap price trust me! The only positive is that we got our money back. The owner didn’t even question us… I think he knew how bad the place was.

This is not a good motel. Yes the price is nice but our room didn’t even have the basic layout. The light in the bathroom wasn’t there so, you’ll have to shower and go to the bathroom in the dark. The smoke detector In The room wasn’t there, and that’s a safety violation, there wasn’t any lamps for the side of the bed so the main light had to be on I order to see which was to bright for night night time, there was no phone in the room to call front desk, and when we called off our cell phone, they didn’t answer, the bed spread was stained everywhere, you only get two thin pillows and ohh good luck washing your body with the soap that’s as big a quarter and doesn’t suds up, and one last thing, there’s a tv but you can’t turn it on because there is no remote. So again, price is great, but they can’t even accommodate the basic needs.

I do not recommend wasting your money and time at MainStay Suites Orange County. It's unsafe, unfriendly, and poorly located across from a large electrical power station. The building is structurally unstable and the floors are uneven and unlevel. The balcony floor was falling apart with broken wood planks and loose nails. Homeless people hanging outside. Stray cats roaming in the parking lot. One elevator for the entire facility. We booked 5 nights and checked out after the first night. The front desk workers are rude, impatient, and unprofessional.

Room and hotel installations are clean. Room size and price are good. You. Can choose what to eat on breakfast. (scramble eggs, potatoes, sausage, hot cakes, cereals, breads)

Wouldn't recommend this hotel they don't give you more than two towels. We stayed a total of five days. They won't take out the trash or do any kind of room service unless you stay more than 7 days. The breakfast they serve you and you only get what they serve you, you can't get more. The staff is not very friendly.

We stayed in a room with 2 double beds and a sofa bed! The room was nice, but there were two things that kept me from rating five stars.First : the bathroom is so tiny and the toilet is super tiny and very low to the ground (toilet was to conserve water)! The fan did not circulate the air enough either because getting out of the shower, I felt very sticky and claustrophobic! There’s just no room in the bathrooms.Second: The way the rooms are structured and where the a/c unit is, makes the room extremely stuffy and we had the air on high; however, you couldn’t feel it anywhere but right directly over the unit! This made the room stay a bear to deal with and a headache was 2 of us had 90% of the time we were in the room!** EXCELLENT FRONT DESK SERVICE**The gentleman at the front desk was so quick with checking us in and it honestly took no more than 8 minutes (if that)! Now, one downfall is they only clean your room if you’re staying more then a week, so you have to get your towels and toiletries yourself from the front desk! But oh well, it wasn’t hard to do, considering how professional they are and the kindly vibe you every time you walk in through their main doors!

While this is certainly an older property, it is still a bargain if you are looking for a longish stay in Orange County. Our King suite was very comfortable and included a kitchenette with refrigerator, sink, and microwave as well as an area separate from the bed with its own tv, desk, couch, and chair. There is a hot breakfast every morning, nothing fancy but scrambled eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, pancakes daily. Throw in that it is 5 minutes from the airport, about 10 minutes Disneyland, and 15 to 20 to beaches it's a great deal.
