The room was exactly as expected, having the sofa bed was nice for the kids with the extra room. It is a little difficult getting from the parking lot if you are choosing to go towards the air force base. They do have the best continental breakfast! The staff is friendly and willing to help you.

Great staff excellent breakfast buffet. Adding corned beef hash and sausage gravy would make it better. 😁 One of my favorite places to stay.

Rooms very clean. Linen was provided as expected. Breakfast helper was amazing at keeping the food stocked up. Variety of food was great except no gravy 🙂 The pool was nice could have been a little warmer, but the area was clean and towels were available. We loved our experience and will definitely return on day.

Our 3rd floor window was unlatched and partially opened, our 11 month old found this fascinating.

The room wasn't clean. There were a dozen glass beads from a necklace or bracelet scattered on the floor from the bathroom all the way to the window (more fun for the baby). There's something splattered on the floor in the sitting area. Piles of debris along the edge of furniture.

The hot water was lukewarm? I'm not sure if it got hot enough to call lukewarm. After 10 minutes it was room temperature.

The closet was not accessible/locked from the inside? Not a big deal but weird and notable if you plan to hang clothes.

The housekeeper knocked on the door at 8am to determine whether we'd checked out so she could...clean?

The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The staff were kind. The lobby and breakfast area was large with plenty of seating and they provided a high chair. I thought the price reasonable but not worth dealing with the above mentioned issues.

Check your room thoroughly for safety issues, if staying with children

Imagine spending over ten thousand easily just staying somewhere over the course of two years just to have your last stay be your last ever due to pure negligence and dishonesty on the hotel staff we had our entire blind setup comedown and if I would have been in bed it could have struck me and seriously injured me and the manager kept saying we broke it and that they have been there for over ten years and it’s our fault it broke because never had a issue until we stayed with them even though I tried to point out the blinds have 6 places for screws/anchors and there were 8 holes in the wall because they had already repaired it once but he wouldn’t listen and got very disrespectful and unprofessional and was not happy about relocating us to another room and we finished out our stay and haven’t been back.

Go to best western off 23rd street it’s way better customer service they couldn’t believe how comfort treated us especially with us being diamond members.

I rarely leave reviews, but I was impressed with this hotel. We stayed for a night before an early flight home, and I didn’t expect it to be such a good hotel. The woman at the front desk when we checked in was pleasant and helpful. The gym is fantastic - I was able to get in a decent workout. The outdoor pool area was cool (very inviting pool). The layout of our room was good, plenty of storage/room to spread out. Most importantly, it was clean. I easily get grossed out by hotel rooms, and this one clearly had been cleaned with attention to detail. We didn’t try the bar/restaurant area, but it looked good. And the shuttle service was easy and on time.

I stay at Hilton Garden Inn Panama City frequently for work related trips. It’s truly my home away from home. Everyone is very welcoming and make sure I am well taken care of during my stay. I wish I can list all names here but I want to say a big THANK YOU to Bernie the manager, Ms. Kimberly at the front desk (she has become my adopted mom), Ms. Lewis in house keeping, Antwan at the front desk for always accommodating my requests, and Ms. Debbie in the cafe for making sure I eat well. So many employees at Hilton Garden that I can thank.

I do have options to stay at other hotels in Panama City but I choose Hilton Garden each and every time because of their great customer service.

I was in town for a quick overnight trip and this hotel was great. The room was clean and comfortable. I wasn't disturbed by noise and the digital key made my check in process very easy. My fault I didn't realize breakfast was not included, but that wasn't an issue. My next stay is already booked. I expect a good experience this time as well.

This is an average hotel and it seems a bit old. Staff was nice but at breakfast they apparently had staffing issues because the lady who was serving apologized to everyone saying she is not a server and the lady cooking was apologizing that she isn't the normal cook. No one really could tell and all of that made it awkward.

The manager of this property is a very poor example of a leader. We had a horrific experience when we checked in after a day of travel and arrived / unloaded only to learn that the ac thermostat in the room was broken. According to the staff this is a common occurrence at this property as they have broken thermostats frequently that is an inconvenience to the guest. Due to recurring maintenance issues we had to load up a cart and move to a room with a working thermostat at 10:30 pm. The manager never apologized he didn’t even check on us to see how we were. I finally reached out to him a couple days later and he was flippant and never ever apologized. We will never stay here again and find it a disappointment for Hilton quality.
