The only redeeming quality of this hotel is the location on the beach. The front desk folks are friendly. The TV worked

1. Two elevators for seven floors and we were told by an employee the broken one has been inoperable for months. So plan to wait a long time for the elevator or use the stairs.
2. The hotel opened in 1974. It is in rough shape. Fresh paint cannot hide the dented surfaces and outdated fixtures.
3. Our stay was five days and were told our room would be serviced on the third day. Didn't happen. We checked out on day four to move to another place.
4. The back door to the deck and beach had no lock or even a mechanism, anyone could enter anytime.
5. The toilet handle was broken.
6. The best breakfast item was the waffle machine with what I hoped was blueberry batter. We went out for breakfast on day two.
7. The morning we checked out, the computer system was down and they couldn't tell me what my final bill amount or check me out. I had to rely on an email statement.

I regret choosing and staying at this property.

I have stayed here on two different occasions- its great for the price. Friendly staff, decent breakfast and a great view. Conveniently located right on the beach. Rooms are clean but could use some updates. Only one elevator was working when we were there this most recent visit.

Ok if not for the location this may as well be public housing. The elevator does not work well and is the size of an upright casket. The hallways are dirty even though there is like 80 staff sitting around. My bathroom shower wall has more black hair dye than Sally's. Please nope.

Its not the best but it's clean ac is cold . I see all the negative reviews and it blows my mind. Stayed here the past 3 years before going to myrtle beach. I love it the family loves it. Staff is nice and the manager comes through making accommodations every time . Only complaint i would have is that they enforce parking and breakfast to people at the hotel and not everyone passing through. Even with the elevator broken down 3 years in a row . I'll still be back next year . Its the beach there's going to be sand and rust.

Only one elevator, you have seven floors that people need to get to with one elevator and all the rooms are always booked up so when Sunday comes and it’s time to leave, You will wait on the elevator to fit all your stuff in there for at least 30 minutes or either you can take the stairs, but the handrails are really really sticky and dirty for $500 a night, Every room is always booked up, The elevator should be fixed!!!!!!! The pool is really really small nowhere to size you would think it would be with the picture they posted, other than that. I had a good time. The staff is helpful it was clean.

We just had to book there last minute as our previous registration had been canceled. The staff at check in was awesome! When we got to our room, we opened the curtains to the pool. It was so awkward having people stare at you in your room, especially for over $400 a night!
When it started to rain we let a worker know the ceiling was getting really wet & spreading fast, no one seemed to care. In the middle of the night the ceiling fell in, scared the crap out of all of us, there was wet ceiling pieces all over our stuff & when I told the front desk she could have cared less, she just said she would tell maintenence, even after I showed her photos of it. We paid over $400 a night, it's not even worth $100. I was exhausted due to be woken up by this & had a 13 hour drive ahead of me. Not to mention it was all over our clothes, so I ran up to the store & spent $40 on laundry supplies to come back & find out BOTH of the washers were broke. Super disappointed & cannot imagine treating paying customers like this!

Stayed for several days. Only AC in main room not in bedrooms. Floors were old and scuffed. Walls were filthy with something brown smeared on one wall. Bathroom was poorly cleaned, there were visible hairs all over the wall. Poor water pressure. Microwave plate was incorrect for the microwave it was in. The hole room reeked of mold so cloyingly that you got instant headaches. Only passing saving grace was location. Definitely NOT worth it!

It’s a solid 3 star hotel. It’s great for the price. The staff were all wonderful and helpful. No bugs, no smells like some of the reviews said that freaked us out. The breakfast was a good deal for 11.99 and kids were half price.

When we checked out a company hit a gas line outside and the hotel had to be evacuated. There was a tall lady that helped my kiddo calm down, and that was just above and beyond. She helped us get moving even though we had to rush out, that lady was just so sweet.

So weird ending to no fault of the hotel, over stay for the price was steller.

My family stayed at this hotel for a week. Upon arrival, our first room was damp, the laminate had water damage and was coming up, the bathroom tub was stained, and there were dirty tissues on the floor. We asked to move to a drier room for the remainder of our stay and the front desk quickly helped to move us to a different room. This room was cleaner and drier, but since it was a connecting room, the walls were paper thin. We have a young child who goes to bed by 8 every night and we could hear everything from our neighbors in the next room, who were up until midnight to 2am each night. Housekeeping came to make beds each day and deliver clean towels, however when the bedding did get changed, there were stains on the sheets. We were under the assumption that breakfast was included, but it was not. They offer a $10.95 basic breakfast buffet at the hotel. While we didn't eat at the hotel, it is convenient to have a breakfast and dinner option (the tiki bar) right at the hotel. Some other positives about this hotel are the fitness center, albeit small. I found that I really only shared it with 1 other person at a time. I give this hotel 3 stars, mostly for its location. My family really enjoyed the close access to the beach and the spacious indoor pool, which was a nice respite from the sun. We also enjoyed sitting outside on the deck overlooking the water to eat lunch, or read a book outside in the shade. There are some great restaurants nearby (Stack 'em High Pancakes, American Pie, Jack Brown's burgers) that are within walking distance, however it is not a very walkable area. We found that cars don't stop for pedestrians, even at crosswalks. Overall, we really enjoyed our week at the beach, but would not opt to stay at this hotel again.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. Room were decent for the price, location is great, pool and hot tub was great edition, AC was cold, no musty smell or humidity unlike a lot of beach front hotels. My biggest complaint is that it was no housekeeping at all during our 4 days stay. Not sure it’s because we had a dog or is it normal, but our room was very dirty by the end of stay with all trash piled up and sand on a floor, no matter how good we tried to rinse after the beach. We had to ask for fresh towels ourselves, wish we could have change of sheets, towels, floor vacuumed and trash taken away. Other than that it was pretty good.

We had an ocean view with King. The room was very spacious & quiet. The staff were polite & friendly. There is an indoor pool & private beach access. Great view from our balcony! The breakfast which you must pay for isn't the greatest. There is a lovely restaurant called Miller's across the street that is a better option. The Beachcombers Restaurant on site for dinner & drinks was exceptionally good! Enjoyed our stay!!

The Ramada Nags Head Oceanfront has exceeded our expectations at this price point. At check in we were greeted by the manager Allie, who was pleasant and helpful in accommodating our request for a room not near the elevator. The cleaning staff have serviced the room daily, and in general the staff is friendly, polite and helpful. The air conditioning and ice maker work well. The location is excellent, directly on the beach. I don't often leave a 5 star review... This one deserves it.
