My family stayed at this hotel for a week. Upon arrival, our first room was damp, the laminate had water damage and was coming up, the bathroom tub was stained, and there were dirty tissues on the floor. We asked to move to a drier room for the remainder of our stay and the front desk quickly helped to move us to a different room. This room was cleaner and drier, but since it was a connecting room, the walls were paper thin. We have a young child who goes to bed by 8 every night and we could hear everything from our neighbors in the next room, who were up until midnight to 2am each night. Housekeeping came to make beds each day and deliver clean towels, however when the bedding did get changed, there were stains on the sheets. We were under the assumption that breakfast was included, but it was not. They offer a $10.95 basic breakfast buffet at the hotel. While we didn't eat at the hotel, it is convenient to have a breakfast and dinner option (the tiki bar) right at the hotel. Some other positives about this hotel are the fitness center, albeit small. I found that I really only shared it with 1 other person at a time. I give this hotel 3 stars, mostly for its location. My family really enjoyed the close access to the beach and the spacious indoor pool, which was a nice respite from the sun. We also enjoyed sitting outside on the deck overlooking the water to eat lunch, or read a book outside in the shade. There are some great restaurants nearby (Stack 'em High Pancakes, American Pie, Jack Brown's burgers) that are within walking distance, however it is not a very walkable area. We found that cars don't stop for pedestrians, even at crosswalks. Overall, we really enjoyed our week at the beach, but would not opt to stay at this hotel again.
