I stayed here for just a night in early April with my boyfriend, but if we're ever in Ocean Shores again we'll absolutely be staying here. We booked an incredibly affordable suite (granted we were staying during the off-season). The room was very spacious and had everything we could need during out stay. While there were a few quirks due to the hotel's age, it was overall a great experience.
To really be able to get the most out of your stay, I'd recommend staying for at least a long weekend, since then you can use the pool, explore the social room, or rent a few of the DVDs on property. Keep in mind, you won't be able to cast or stream any videos to the in-room TVs.
I will say that the hotel's beach access is a bit of an adventure, the trail is narrow and can be muddy and you have to duck a bit. While we visited, there was standing water that kept us from getting to the actual beach, but that's probably not an issue in the summer. However, to be safe, I'd recommend using the town's general beach access.
