Around March 2024, early in the morning, I won a jackpot and called for an attendant to reset the machine. The attendant who came—his name was Eric—was very rude.
Five minutes later, he came back and said they needed to deduct taxes from the winnings. Which he cannot not decide behalf of me, only the winner can decide, because it was a in house slot machine jacpot under 3k.
I asked for the manager, and name Bryce Kawano, come, and he was even more rude when he started talking. He said the same thing: that they needed to deduct taxes now. I told him I had won a few jackpots just two weeks ago at this same casino and they didn’t deduct anything. I file and pay my taxes at the end of the year.
Then he started lying. He said the IRS changed the rules last week. I asked, “What rule?” He said, “If the SSN starts with an 8, we need to collect tax.” Total lie. I even checked online right then—there is no such rule about SSNs starting with 8.
Even though I’m a long-time Seven Star cardholder, he came back and finally paid me the full amount. But instead of apologizing, this unprofessional, scammer manager, Bryce Kawano, kept being rude— treating and more, even by my fiancée. And when I told him to keep his distance, he came very close to my face. That’s completely out of line. He was clearly thinking about assault me.
This “unsmart” person shouldn’t just not be a manager—he shouldn’t be working in any public-facing job at all. By the way, the unprofessional slot attendant’s name was Eric.
I’ve won over 2,000 jackpots in the last five years, and this is the first time I’ve had a problem like this—with two scammer employees. These losers were probably just jealous of how I look and tried to mess with me. Scammers.
