The Riverdale Inn gets a rare five star across the board rating from me. The service was exceptional from check in to check out. The building itself could use a coat of paint on the outside, but don’t let that put you off. The rooms are well appointed, including a charging station, a coffee maker (redundant given the coffee on offer downstairs), and a mini-fridge. The beds are nice, but the mattress was just a bit too soft for me. The bathrooms are excellent. I enjoyed spending some time out on the balcony as well. The included breakfast was top notch, with many choices. I had a ham and cheese omelet, and it did not disappoint. The neighborhood is great, and there are many restaurants in the 5 corners area (within easy walking distance). This is one of those places that I have mixed feelings about giving a good review. They deserve it, but I am afraid it will become too popular if there are too many five star reviews! Ha. Bottom line…. Way better than the box hotels on offer elsewhere in the city.
