We fell in love with place. It definitely was a great find. We were in the smaller room but it was perfect for our overnight stay. It was very comfortable and the bathroom and kitchenette were very clean with great towels and bath/shower combo. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The one of a kind historic hotel and the restaurant will be our go to when on our trips from Houston to Florida.

This was a cool place to stay. We did not get to be in one of the historical rooms as we needed the one with 2 queen beds but it was nice and the bathroom was very clean. The super sized thick towels were wonderful and the huge shower head was AH-MAZING. My husband really enjoyed the breakfast with fruit, bagels and some light quiche. The service was excellent and when our tv wouldn’t work they gave us a partial refund. We would stay here again!

Everything was awesome. We paid for a smaller room. It was lovely, but the ac wasn't blowing as cool as we would love it, so we got upgraded to The Margaret. I absolutely enjoyed this vintage feel, and OMG, the tub in The Margaret was EVERYTHING!!!🥰The courtyard was just right to sit and enjoy my hubby, and the $3 continental breakfast that came with the stay was delicious and fulfilling!!!!

Great location, room together with attached bathroom was spotless and spacious. Comfy bed with very clean sheets and good quality towels. High ceiling and old charm decor created a very nice relaxing atmosphere. During hot August days the air conditioned temperature in the room was keeping us cool and very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

We had to change venues for a family gathering in Mobile a week before the event. Melissa, Taylor and the rest of the team were extremely accommodating and were able to host us despite having other events going on. The food was amazing and our accommodations were comfortable and spotless. It is hot in July on Mobile and the AC handled the high temps with no issue. Thank you Fort Conde for helping make a special menu!

From arrival to check out, service was wonderful. Greeted upon arrival at curbside and at check in. Took one star for service since the bellman had to tell me I needed to use the key card for the elevator, he happened to be just behind me to bring my luggage up as I was just mashing the buttons 🤣 ( guest service forgot to mention that, but everything else was great, a plus for security). The bartender, she was a delight as well. Very clean and the view was wonderful from the 16th floor city side and Christmas time is beautiful downtown Mobile, AL ( Nov 30,2024

The hotel is PHENOMENAL!! Fathoms is a great place to sit and relax. The staff has always been great. After tonight I am concerned about the upper management of this hotel. Fathoms was literally OVERRUN with people, the bartender, bar manager and staff was doing everything humanly possible to take care of the patrons. How could you ever subject your team to conditions like this??? I don’t know the retention rate of these positions at all, I’ve been here quite frequently over the last 8-12 months, seeing the same staff. I will say the team working Fathoms, the bar and the bar manager were ROCKSTARS tonight in the way they handled the situation!!! Upper management should be ashamed of themselves for not supporting this staff or having more team members available to handle situations like this. Surely they know when they are having a large number of patrons coming in, most of us here tonight are in the food industry for a convention.

I had a great time and wonderful experience at this hotel. It’s walking distance to everything, great restaurants, beautiful parks, lively bars. The service was great as well. Anglea and Linnea were two I encounter. I stayed from 8/18-8/21. I was able to have access to the M lounge and work all day from there. This allowed me to not feel stuffy in the room and have access to snack and drinks. The nice lounge attendant was amazing and I learned Ramsay she is using in the conference areas but was in the lounge while her teammate was on break. She really made my experience above my expectations. Definitely recommend staying here.

Upscale hotel in Mobile with a great view!I wasn’t sure where the engrave was since there was no obvious sign displayed. We really liked our upgraded room, overlooking the river.Bedding was a top notch and the room was nicely renovated. I loved the interior decor and furnitures. However, bathroom was more traditional and not updated to the same standard.. inside sink had a little crack on it.Amenities including pool and fitness center were pretty good and had a great view of the river and building.Front desk staff and valet staff were friendly and tried to accommodate us in any way possible.

Fantastic hotel, definitely recommended... The rooms were fantastic and the staff were all very kind and helpful! It's a top notch hotel, the type that in a bigger city would be $400-500 a night, and they treat you like that, if not better... Plus we had everything we needed (great restaurants, bars, breakfast spots, coffee places) all within a couple blocks.... Thanks again!
