This hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub, large hot breakfast, and large lobby with a bar.

Some rooms have nice plush mattresses and other rooms do not! Room 139 very firm and Room 209 has an excellent mattress. Both have sliding bathroom doors that will crush fingers - watch out!

Overall, the hotel needs a good deep clean especially in the pool/hot tub and the carpets too which is why the rating of 4 stars.

Old, outdated hotel that won’t clean your room even if you ask. Stayed for 4 days and after 2 days without cleaning, I specifically requested my room to be cleaned and they said they would. Went to work for 10 hours to come back to the same room. They never came in and replaced anything or cleaned anything. Also, wallpaper falling off the wall, tvs that don’t work and are 15 years old. By far the worst Embassy Suites I’ve ever stayed at. I was expecting a nice stay as I usually don’t stay at Embassy’s because of their price. Decided to treat myself, well, I was treated alright, to a dirty, outdated Motel. It’s starting to happen more and more with Hilton hotels. I need to forget my Diamond status, and start from the beginning with Marriot.

Experience with the 5 of 5 star starting with the ck in that Jake did very well. He even remembered what happened the night before and he addressed me personally throughout the whole stay. I haven’t seen that happen probably in over 25 years. highly recommended. Will see you guys in three months.

THis is the last time we stay at the Embassy Suites in Corpus... Never seen so MANY ungrateful temas in the hotel, drinking their own beer in the pool area and my son getting hit by the football that these inconsiderate kids where throwing... I'm all about music but keep that mexican music to yourself... no help came from the staff when I called to let them know people where drinking their own beer in the pool... also, to invite family from the outside to come to the pool... not to say during breakfast this morning all these people were using their hands to grab bread, muffins, etc with their hands... for the 15 yrs we have been coming here never had their been this type of clientele especially the ones who play sports... Now I see why the hotel went from free happy hour drinks to just 2 free drinks... not including the happy hour spread went from a big spread to just a few items of vegetables, chips and salsa and gold fish... these people don't have any manners, they leave the food tops opens, no excuse me just cut infront of you in line... i rather start paying for my meals, and better quality hotel stay.

My stay at this hotel was great. The best part of my stay was the front desk staff. Jacob is an outstanding employee who deserves as high a pay raise as can be given. He would be right at home working in any of the finest hotels and resorts in the world. Jacob’s customer service and attention to detail is unmatched. I have stayed at many Hilton hotels to the point of being a diamond member, there has never been a better employee that I have seen that is better than Jacob. If anyone in the Hilton chain has more questions about how outstanding of an employee he is and how much more money he deserves I am happy to take any questions.

It was a great idea putting Jason at the front desk! After a long flight in from California his hospitality was very much appreciated. He was so welcoming and informative of all the hotel amenities. The location is right next to the freeway and not far from the ocean. Breakfast buffet was well prepared with a huge selection. We were very impressed! Room was spacious and the over all inside of the building is clean and well kept. The rest of the staff was very nice saying hello everytime we passed. We were here for my mom’s 50th High School reunion for Moody High! We will definitely be staying here again.

Great hotel, but some of the rooms need an update. The was a smoke smell in the room but we came in tired. We just dealt with it. Easy check in, nice set up. Just needs a refresh and some updates. Still, I recommend it.

Great stuff. Great bartenders, clean pool, great hot tub. Great location, free breakfast and dinner, as well as two free alcoholic beverages each night of your stay. Architecture of the building was interesting. I did love the windows that opened into the interior of the hotel. Cool place would definitely go back.

It’s an older property, but maintained well. We love that the living space and the bedroom/bathroom had a door between them. All the staff we dealt with were very kind and helpful. Our fridge wasn’t working so I used the text message number to notify the front desk. Michelle replied before two minutes and the maintenance guy was up before the hour was out. He fixed it immediately and said someone in the next shift would check that it didn’t go off again due to an auto-feature the fridge seemed to have. No more issues with the fridge. The social hour with two free drinks was very nice and even though the bartender was stretched to her limit, she was still very kind and helpful, great drink as well. Despite the large open courtyard, the hotel is quiet. We plan to return as we were here for an in-hotel event. There is no room service on weekends though, that’s my only meh about the whole stay. I would also like to praise the designer who realized that the on-tap for the shower should not be below the shower head but in front of the shower door! You can turn it on to warm up (only took seconds) without getting blasted with cold water!

We love coming to embassy suites. The front desk was really nice and accommodating. We left our luggage downstairs until our room was ready. The young lady gave us a ticket and allowed us to leave our luggage in the office area, a really sweet young lady. The room was clean, just a little stuffy and had 2 plugs in the bedroom area that didn't work but clean. We called for extra pillows with no problems. Breakfast was GREAT. The omelet was everything !!! The chef and his helper worked really good together. We did have an unpleasant encounter with kitchen staff not friendly AT ALL called the guest pigs under her breath for the mess that was made around the coffee station. We did not appreciate that at all. I did get her name (Sanela). I know that Embassy Suites would not appreciate their guest being called pigs . Overall, all other encounters with any staff were great friendly spoken to with smiling faces. We will be back ☺️

Had a good stay. Room was clean and well stocked with everything from coffee, shampoo, towels, hair drier, etc…. The room smelled damp but maybe that is due to the high humidity in this area?
I did enjoy the fitness center and the complimentary breakfast. I wanted to recognize Joe T, the cook at the made to order section of the grill area. I asked if they could cook my eggs in butter and not the vegetable oil the restaurant uses. He said absolutely and made my eggs in real butter. They tasted great and I was very pleased. Hats off to Joe T. He started my day off right with a healthy breakfast. The rest of the staff were also courteous and friendly. Upbeat. I will stay here again.

Close by campus, but that's all you can really say. I mean, the room was clean when we came, but there wasn't any follow up cleaning while we were out to restock towels and such before our second night. Breakfast was standard Americana and staff was nice, but anywhere other than our room was molten lava. It was hotter in the hotel than outside! And the room itself didn't have a comforter, only stocked mid sized towels, it took over 5 minutes for the water to be anything but ice cold (which was nice for a bit since we were so hot from the lobby), and the loose tiles in the hall were an over night obstacle course to use the bathroom.

Terrible service and very unorganized. We came from San Antonio to stay here, we reserved 2 queen bed rooms. Upon arrival the young lady in front said they were booked up and only had one queen bed rooms available. Which doesn’t make sense if we RESERVED it. To make matters worse she tells me that there is no price difference and we couldn’t have gotten a discount for this which was very ridiculous. My family and I were very tired and had no other choice but to stay here this was very inconvenient. Now I know to never stay at this hotel! Would definitely not be coming back to this establishment they rip you off. I posted the pictures of a rollout bed they provided us with the receipts. Absolutely ridiculous!!

Convenient to get to campus. But that was the only good thing about the hotel. Lobby restroom smelled like feces, carpet in room felt disgusting on my feet. Tiles were loose. Doors were propped open late at night to enter hotel. Loud music blaring in the pool area well after 10pm(we were told pool closed at 10). And my car was hit in parking lot and when asked about cameras I was told that it is live feed only no recording so now I have to get my car fixed. And dogs barking frequently.

Rooms are clean but the 4th floor rug needed cleaning badly. I could see so many spills and even dried vomit. Downstairs is beautiful and the dining area very nice. Food was good. A good assortment for continental breakfast. The lady at the guest desk was not a smiley type person but was efficient at her job. You are so near everything. I couldn't hear the highway at all.

No way to turn off the fan. Kept waking up all night. Breakfast was a little lacking. No butter. The coffee was watered down. And I'm not sure that they mixed the orange juice and the apple juice concentrate when they put it in the machine cuz that tasted watered down too. The only meat was a sausage gravy.

Not worth the price! Large Dead roach in room - so it wasn't cleaned well. Pool is unsafe & disgusting. The chipped plaster had mold growing that even chlorine can't kill! Hot tub was cold and didn't work. Ice machine out of order. Fridge had a bad smell. Called the front desk 3x & no answer. Never returning & DON'T recommend.

Terrible service, we booked online and when we arrived there was no one at the desk. We waited for 1 hour then a young lady came out of a back room and seemed high or as if she just woke up. She was not very communicated with us. She said she couldn’t check us in because her system website was updating and she didn’t know when it get fully updated. So then, we waited another 40 minutes in the lobby and no luck. We had to cancel our order from bookings.com, unfortunately it’s a very terrible experience coming from out of town to get some rest, and there’s no help at all.
Now Bookings, states they will not refund our money as well. I feel that’s absolutely unfair. Waste of time and money.

I will not stay here again. I will also not recommend this hotel to anyone! We found a live cockroach crawling on the nightstand and bed. Upon looking around we found more dead cockroaches in the room. The staff was nice, she gladly moved us rooms even though they were over booked for the night. When we went to the other room on 4th floor we found more dead cockroaches. They were big and small. I have staying in a lot of hotels and have not once had a big of any sort in my room. The pool area was not good either. It was very run down. Paint peeling off the floor of the pool, rust on the door, hot tub timer didn’t work, pool was freezing cold.

Guest room was great. No complaints. Breakfast was good except the nice lady couldn't keep up with demand which caused a big backup in the food area with people standing around waiting for food. Our biggest complaint was the pool and hot tub. The water in the pool was extremely cold and the pool was extremely dirty. You could see debris floating in the bottom. The hot tub didn't work and it's water was cloudy.

The indoor pool was smelly and not kept clean. We had to wait an extra 15-20 min (past check in time) because rooms weren't available. The staff was impolite and rude. Upon entering the room, the carpet was wet and still dirty (made our feet black). There also was a bug we found in the bed (pictured) and upon informing, the staff told us to leave in the middle of the night with our four month old. The only positive for this hotel was its location.

In 2018 I visited this hotel with my wife and my pet and we loved it. The room we reserve was super clean, and the hotel in general too. The staff was phenomenal, friendly and were aware of everything.

Unfortunately, that was left behind. I booked a room from June 14 to June 16 and left a day before. The bathroom was dirty, there was sand, and the bathroom floor had a fungus or something quite dirty. The pool was dirty, the halls too. But really the first problem we find is that the door of the room we reserve did not close well. The first night we could not leave the hotel for fear of leaving our things without any security. I let it know the girl from the reception, who grabbed the phone allegedly to call maintenance, but it was a lie, no one from maintenance arrived.

The next day around 7 in the morning I went to look for breakfast. Very little variety, and very slow kitchen staff to supply what was over. I indicated again to another girl at the reception, the problem of the door, told me that in a few minutes the maintenance staff arrived and would send them to my room. She did not do it.

About 3 hours later we decided to go to the beach, I went back to the reception, was the girl who attended me in the morning, and the girl who attended me the night before. They told me that the maintenance were in another room, that when they finished they would go to mine.

We left the tag at the door indicating the Housekeeping staff that could go to do their job and left. We return about 4 hours later. Housekeeping staff never went to the room, in fact, we saw them in Housekeeping room they have on each floor, without doing anything, wasting time. The maintenance staff did not go to the room either.

Apparently they need more staff, but those who have there are very vague or are not interested in working. They lied to me all the time with respect to maintenance personnel, so we decided to leave that hotel once again to return. And they still had the impudence of telling me that they will charge me the night I was not going to be, but I didn't care, and I left. Never more..
