Great service at this tastefully designed and pleasant hotel, with wonderful, friendly and accommodating staff and great amenities like nice, free breakfast in the morning that includes a wide variety of items like fruits, bacon, eggs, waffles, sausages, bagels and hot coffee and other drinks. The hotel also conveniently has a small, side store for limited items; a pool; a gym and a small business center to use, if you didn't bring your laptop. We were highly impressed with the comfortable room, with how big it was with carpeting where it needs to be, and how quiet and pleasant our stay turned out to be with ample parking. It also turned out that the place that we needed to be for our appointment the next day turned out to be only 10-15 minutes away, so closer than what Google Maps indicated. Glad we took a chance at this hotel and would definitely love to stay here again when we're in the area.

Check-in was friendly, quick, easy, and professional. Although I'm not sure why they needed my phone number. I've been at many hotels that did not ask for this upon check-in. The entryway is relatively clean and inviting on the inside. The room was moderately clean and very cool upon entry. It was quiet and conducive to sleep. The bed was soft and comfortable. The layout is spacious. The bathroom was acceptable in its cleanliness except for some design flaws and very overdue maintenance. Clean and fluffy towels. The shower head was surrounded by drywall that was falling apart, and parts of the wall were bulging where there was too much moisture. Evidence of rust was evident nearly everywhere. Even the towel rack was covered in rust. The lights over the entryway and coffee area in the room were flickering. The door handles are worn and rusted. There were serious deficiencies with cleaning at this hotel that were more evident after our first 24 hours. The refrigerator gasket was black with dirt. Tile floors are sticky. Despite following the placard instructions and placing it on the bed, our sheets were never changed. The bed wasn't even made. There was something unidentifiable between the mattress and the box spring. Stains were all over the sheets and bedspread. The light switches had very thick layers of dirt. There was another stain on the cushioned chair. No other cleaning was performed during the day we were out. All that was done was the replacement of our towels. No replacement of soap was performed. They only provided one bar of soap to be used at the sink and shower and no refills for the shampoo and conditioner. If this hotel has wifi, it doesn't work well and is thus useless. The view from the window is a parking lot and a waste dumpster that is emptied on Friday morning around 7 am, which is loud but not too bad. This is just something to keep in mind. The breakfast is average with the usual packaged (not freshly made) scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, yogurt, cereals, bagels, fruit, waffles, coffee, tea, juice, etc. The landscaping for this hotel is seriously neglected. There are more weeds than actual plants in the beds. It could be a metaphor for some of the neglect in this hotel. The elevators have an odor that I can't identify. We did not have a chance to try out the pool and hot tub. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you're in a tight spot and need a relatively clean, safe, quiet, and moderately affordable hotel on the Southside near the Chesapeake Convention Center in July. Its location is far enough away from major roads to prevent road noise, and we were able to get a restful sleep. The price is much better than many of the overpriced hotels/motels in Virginia Beach, and it is quick and easy to get on Interstate 64.

There is a convenience store called Wawa nearby. It is crowded because there are several hotels. The restaurants in the neighborhood close around 10 o'clock. The hotel pool is open until 10 o'clock. Towels are provided. There is a jacuzzi. The breakfast is good, with fruit, yogurt, hot scrambled, potatoes, etc. The shower and water handles are a little old but they work. There are no towels in the gym, so please bring your own. There is a TV, but I don't know how to turn it on. It would be nice to be able to listen to music. The air conditioner filters were clean! The refrigerator cannot be frozen. The parking lot is spacious. It was a good hotel.

At best, it's ok. Breakfast is marginal. Pool had scrappy hours...1pm to 10 pm. The hot tub kinda worked, it was hot, but jets didn't have much force. The bath tub was slippery and shower had low pressure. Beds and pillows were pretty good. The room itself seemed to be clean. Furniture had shown signs of wear nad tear. No ice machine on second floor.

We've stayed here several times over several years and we're always pleased. Great location, clean and quiet rooms, and a nice spa area. The continental breakfast area is huge and full of great options. The pool is clean and the whirlpool is nice and warm. We'll definitely keep returning!

I was pleasantly surprised the minute I walked though the front door! Mr. Z (Kabir) has perfected excellent customer service skills that are rare these days! He was so personable and helpful during the check in process as well as the entire stay. The hotel was kept very clean and tidy. The breakfast was very good and they did a great job keeping the breakfast stocked and tables cleaned. Every employee that I interacted with were super friendly. The bed was cozy. We will definitely be back.

It had been some years since i stayed at this hotel. But i remembered it being very comfortable when i did. The beds were very comfortable, not too soft, and not too hard. A little elbow grease and rust cleaner would do the tub some good. Better protein choices for breakfast would be exceptional. But otherwise, I enjoyed my stay. After my minor procedure. I was on the 1st floor only a few a w steps from the door, which was exactly what I needed.

Didn't take pics as my healing process was more important.

The bathroom and bedroom area were very clean and comfy. I always take my own wipes and do my own wipe down,
I didn't see any residue or dirt on the wipes as I have in other places.

Stayed here a few nights ago and it was a great experience. I looked at the reviews and still decided to judge the place by its own colors. Great food and service even though there are a few renovations going on. I was greeted by Bryant, the night auditor more than anyone because of my hours, and it was a very genuine feel to it. He saw me around 11:30ish and saw me at 6:45 heading out and every time it was the same pleasurable, professional, and personable encounter. I value that in my stays no matter where I am. If I am back here in the future, I will definitely stay in this hotel again, no matter what people are saying.

So frustrated with this place. Everything says they have a pool and we booked it with my five year old excited to swim. No pool. They had one years ago and are blaming third party sites for the misinformation but this Google maps entry says pool front and center and I know for a fact that owners can update this. Third party third party was all she kept saying. Give me a break. Get it done. Get it figured out and updated so you aren't scamming people. They've apparently had three years to do so and haven't. And inside on the hallway sign that says pool it just now has white tape popped over it. Second complaint: hotels are mainly for spending nights in and SLEEPING and this hotel has only crappy vinyl slat blinds and then FAKE drapes hanging to the sides that you can't actually close across the window. So stupid. You bothered putting those up for looks but not functionality? People want it to be dark in their rooms at night so they can sleep. You know, the main thing they are here for! Fake curtains.... Really?! The fitness center is nice and the beds are pretty comfortable but I can't get over their information saying there's a pool when there isn't, and then just a nonchalant "oh sorry we don't actually have one, lol" attitude or the crappy window treatments. Will not stay here again.

I don't know how this hotel is open to the public. The majority of it is under construction. There's no pool or shuttle as advertised. The rooms tv way too small and has to be from 2005. The toilet shakes when you sit on it. The gap under the door is so big it lights up the room at night. There was no side table on the other side of the bed. Don't plan on charging your phone or having a place to put your things if you get stuck with that spot. The locks to the building do not work so you have to go to the front if you want inside. We didn't need service and it does have a lot of restraunts by it.

We were delayed in Chesapeake for Christmas. This Hilton went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing Christmas. The kids were a little sad. We didn't know if Santa would be able to turn around to drop off gifts!! Thankfully EVERY member of this hotel made our stay magical!! I don't think Christmas would have been that awesome if wasn't for these amazing crew members!

The hotel was undergoing renovations, the staff made sure we were in a room away from the noise and placed us in an upgraded room.

Our stay was truly a Christmas miracle.
Thank you Hilton for making our stay so peaceful and full of cheer! I hope to visit again!!
