Night time front desk staff was super RUDE! The pool has a sign saying no food or drink people were getting wasted and vaping in the pool area and nothing was done. Multiple guest complained about kids playing to rough and trying to drown other kids in the pool, the kids were not asked to leave and was a problem the whole time we were in the pool. The hotel staff didn't seem to care about anything besides sitting behind the desk and talking. The ceiling in our room was partial caved in The hotel wasn't worth the price we paid to stay there!

I really don't know where to begin with this. We got upgraded to a suite, which sounds good, but ultimately meant nothing. It looks like our room had some sort of party in it before. (There were steamers on the wall and other little things) Our room did not look clean, and the furniture had definitely seen better days. Our desk chair had scratches all over it. The plumbing is really slow as well. As for the service, workers were very sassy when we asked for a late check out. The breakfast area, although free, was very limited. Plates, bowls, and silverware were rarely stocked. The pool is tiny and the hottub is way too hot. Although these things are small, it stills ruins the experience given how much we paid for the room.

The rooms are pretty alright, the pool is very outdated with mystery chunks in water, the beds are firm, very soft comforter and amazing breakfast, really good parking lot security. my really only issue was we turned on the ac unit and left for awhile and came back and room smelt of fish. and there’s no plastic shower curtain protector. other than that very comfortable stay. But if your looking for quiet go elsewhere, can hear every step the upstairs room makes.

Staff/family are staying at this hotel, and milling around in the office and front desk. So professionalism and personal information sharing is a concern.Security questions aside, the hotel was nice! I'm a return guest and will likely return. Clean room, good view, and ample breakfast offerings. One elevator broke while I was there. But things happen.I think the hotel has the potential to increase their offerings and enhance the guest experience!

This was a last-minute stay because I had originally intended to stay at the super 8 across the street from the Best Western however, that stay was awful, which included roaches and unfriendly staff. I spoke to Michele at the front desk and, after hearing my horror story, accommodated me very well! She was a saving grace in otherwise could’ve been a terrible night for me. The room was clean spacious and the bed was very comfortable. If I ever drive through Omaha again I would definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Hot tub was relaxing after a long cold day. Room was clean. And they have an amazing coffee/latte machine in the welcome area. It warms the body for the walk back to your room after a dip in the pool/hot tub.

Great free breakfast buffet, excellent 24 hr specialty coffee dispenser, indoor swimming pool with kids' amenities. Easy access to the interstates. The rooms are showing their age. Torn carpets or stains. But excellent hotel for the price.

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel without looking at reviews first. After reading reviews the day before checking, we were very much prepared to find a new hotel if this one was a mess. Despite the recent bad reviews we read on this hotel, we actually had a very good experience. The room upon arriving was very clean and neat. We honestly had no problems while staying at this hotel. There are some flaws with the rooms, just small things like there was a crack in the foundation by the shower and the shower and sink drain tended to not drain very quickly, so those things could definitely be an easy update. Also, I found the bed to be spongy and not very comfortable, but my boyfriend loved it so to each their own. The blankets were also pretty thin, almost like there wasn’t really an actual comforter, so they could use a new set of hotel fluffy blankets, but that’s me being picky. Other than that, the location was good, close to almost everything. The longest drive we took was to downtown and that still was not far. Check in and out were both a breeze as well. Honestly was surprised there were so many bad reviews, we are super picky people when it comes to cleanliness and hotel rooms so it passed our test. Would definitely stay here again if I ever traveled back to Nebraska!

Was really excited about this trip but started and ended less then optimal. Booked two rooms asked if they could be on the same floor. They said no they're sold out. Okay I get it not your fault, that's fine. Order door dash that night and while waiting someone comes in a gets 2 new room bookings stating their previous hotel overbooked, so much for being "sold out". No big deal, I get it, maybe they're too busy to worry about our requests. Oh well. Our bedding was filthy and stained in room #1. That next morning we noticed the cabinet above the toilet is about to fall off the wall and is barely hanging on, so they change our room "but are still sold out" so again different floor. Room #2 both queen beds are sinking terribly in the center AND the bedding is stained terribly. So an uncomfortable night's sleep with blankets from the car. Next morning get out of the shower and there's drywall everywhere from ceiling falling apart while showering. Water damage from above, along with mold, looks to have been patched before. Also alarm is beeping and hanging from ceiling with water damage as well. Room #3 night 3 moved to another room on another floor. Room was much better but smelt of cigarettes. Breakfast was awesome, they're usually quick to refill hot food. The hotel had multiple renovations going on. The pool area was a bit sketchy and looked like a landlord special. Employees were very polite and very understanding regarding room issues. Although the short male employee maintaining the breakfast area would constantly dig away with a finger in his nose while swapping out napkins and wiping tables. Found it a bit odd but hey it's not a fancy hotel. I'm assuming a family took the hotel over for renovations as they were all wearing "street clothes" and not some sort of formal wear for a business, so you wouldn't recognize them unless they were behind a desk or attending an amenity. I'm sure at some point the hotel will improve, as I said staff was friendly (disregarding the refusal to put 2 bookings on the same floor even though rooms were in fact available) and food was great. Just the hotel itself was poor off.Oh also forgot to mention regarding the pool. The pool water was very foggy clarity was about 8inches. The hot tub unattended would form foam in the center with some questionable brown discoloration and "tiny chunks" It was very muggy and hot in the pool area, had sliding glass doors surrounding that would've made a world of difference.

I’ve stayed at this location in the past so obviously is nice enough for a return visit. My son (4) really enjoys the pool area and I have to say that’s the highlight of this hotel. It has a couple of small slides and some other fun water features to keep the kids entertained. It’s dated, a bit worn, but safe and reliable (the pool as well as the hotel). No odd smells or anything too off putting throughout the facility. The room was very clean and cozy. Just needs some updating and maintenance. Little things like the shower curtain bracket starting to come loose from the wall, fabric on the chair almost worn through. But the cleaning staff is doing a great job with what they have to work with.Breakfast was above average for a hotel in this price range. The breakfast area was clean and staff was on hand to keep it so. However, we got there right when it opened both mornings; I can’t speak to the cleanliness after a couple of hours of traffic.Overall, a good location and will probably continue to choose this location until my son gets too big for the pool (it’s only 3ft at the deepest). I think the owners would be wise to invest a bit in updates and maintenance. It has a lot of potential to be a much more highly rated facility.

Not many cons but here are mine:1. There are no mini water bottles, so unless you bring your own water (they do have mini fridge) you have to go to the 6th floor for ice, then down to the lobby for water.2. No microwave in rooms, but you can go through the restaurant, in the back with the service workers to use their microwave. The best part is the service! Carlos works at the front desk and was amazing and accommodating. They have 24/7 valet and Easton was so friendly and fast when bringing your vehicle. It was cold out and we were in and out kind of late and he always greeted us with a smile and made good small talk.3. The bartender was super friendly.4. Pretty decent gym area.

I travel to Omaha for work about once a month and this is my 3rd time staying at Hotel Deco. The check-in is my favorite part of staying at this hotel. Carlos is super friendly/approachable and he already feels like a friend whenever I roll into town! I’ve stayed at many hotels in the Old market and this is quickly one of my favorite places to stay. The rooms are great, beds are comfy and staff are awesome and friendly.

The staff shines at this establishment. Carlos at the front desk was wonderful. His gorgeous smile and impeccable service made me and family feel instantly welcome. Jack the bartender makes a mean smoked old fashioned and Easton the valet was amazing. The monarch restaurant has a burger to die for. I will definitely be back. The room was quiet and met all my needs.

I visited Hotel Deco for Valentine’s Day and had planned to decorate the room, so I requested an early check-in. Upon arrival, I greeted the front desk attendant and inquired about checking in early. She immediately informed me that there would be a $35 fee, which was fine, and asked for my ID and credit card. However, when my card didn’t seem to work, she mumbled something I couldn’t hear. When I asked her to repeat herself, she suddenly raised her voice to a high octave, which felt unnecessary. While she may have thought she was being polite, she didn’t come across as warm or welcoming.Once I got to my room, I was immediately met with a spider, which I had to kill despite my fear of them. On top of that, I noticed black mold spots near the corner of the comforter and in front of the bed. At that point, I decided I couldn’t stay. When I went back to the front desk to inform the same attendant of what I had found, she didn’t offer to switch my room—just stated that they couldn’t issue a refund due to their 24-hour notice policy. I accepted that and simply asked about my deposit, but again, her demeanor was cold and unwelcoming.Overall, the hotel felt outdated, and while it had a regal aesthetic, it seemed more like a worn-down version of its former self, with a surface-level refresh.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, the sweetest staff that there is and a FABULOUS Restaurant as a part of Hotel Deco, with a new-wave and modern comfort food menu that is sure to please!I highly recommend this hotel to any traveler in the Omaha area. Enjoy the dining and the gracious staff! They were also SO helpful with giving me cool spots to explore in their town and is literally walking distance to some of the best shops I've been to in Nebraska!

Unique experience. This 1920s vibe art deco hotel with Alice in Wonderland themes throughout was wonderful. It was beautiful and tied in the theme without being cheesy. Rooms were comfort with a luxury feel. Parking in secure garage through valet service. On-site lounge with bar as well as a restaurant. Rooms were spacious. Bathroom lighting was somewhat dark, making it difficult to apply makeup, but there is a light up mirror on the counter to help with that. All in all a great experience and stay! Will hopefully be back in Omaha again to stay!Update: Was in the area and stayed here again on a business trip. Stayed in a king room this time and also dined in their restaurant “The Monarch”. Another wonderful experience again! Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience at Deco. Checked in and taken care of immediately! We were late getting to restaurant but they stayed open for us. Jack, the bartender, and Matt, the chef, OUTSTANDING. After a long day of traveling Deco was the perfect spot to rest for the night! This will be our place to stay on future road trips!!

I love this hotel. Right on down town Omaha, within walking distance from everything you'd want to go do. Rooms are AWESOME and Carlos, the front desk gentleman, who checked us in was super helpful. Also, he wore the best jackets! Will stay here again.

The hotel was nicely furnished and quiet. It was priced pretty similarly to nearby hotels. However, the showers were confusing and the water pressure was very weak. We switched rooms to a lower floor, but the pressure was only marginally better. We were told a city works project was cutting off water to the building. The hotel staff didn't offer any form of compensation due to the inconvenience. I expect hotels to have properly working beds, toilets, showers, etc... basic stuff.

This hotel is a total disappointment. To be fair its more like a 3 star hotel. Where do I begin, you think you pay more you get more but not true about here. Very low pressure water for the shower. They don’t have 24/7 on demand room service for 4 star hotel! Very neutral customer service. Don’t have a buffet for breakfast. $25 per night parking fee. Super noisy rooms due to old windows. Usually hotels use soundproof windows but this one uses an amplifier instead! The whole night I can hear cars and motorcycles. And not to mention of, its overpriced compared to what you get. So don’t waste your money and get a 3 star hotel. You can save money and yourself from insomnia. Oh , I almost forgot, I asked them for refund and they refused. So not even flexible. When I wanted to pull aside the curtains a lot of dusts went on air.

Service was good they were very helpful, we stayed on the 11th floor so there wasn't much water pressure. The room was clean. If you drive a big truck or large vehicle you can't park in their parking garage the closest place was two blocks away so don't pay for valet parking if you have one. The restaurant was nice good food if a little pricey. Good location if you want to walk around downtown.
