My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel about 2 years ago and loved it. We knew certain rooms booked up quickly so we made our reservation for 2/13/25 - 2/17/25 about three months in advance, and it was not what we expected. The front desk staff was very friendly when we checked into our room. Once in our room, we were unpacking some snacks only to find an adult toy in the drawer. We are unsure as to how long this was in the drawer, but we alerted the front desk right away and he helped up move to a different one-bedroom room. After assessing the second room, I was in the restroom and noticed that there was a biohazard on the side of the toilet paper closest to the shower. We once again alerted the front desk about this issue and he helped us change the roll of toilet paper (wearing gloves). At night, the design flaws of the room were very eminent. Our room was right underneath two downlights on the exterior of the building, which projected through our window and lit up our entire ceiling, making it impossible to sleep. As a result, we had to place extra sheets over the top of the curtain rod to block out the light. Finally, on 2/14/25 in the morning (around 7:30 am) our toilet broke. The only way to flush the toilet was to take the tank lid off and pull up on the lever on the inside. It was very inconvenient. We explained all of this to the general manager shortly after (including the three other incidents) and she kindly compensated us for these issues. The pros to this location are the front desk staff was very friendly and the hotel is located close to shopping and about 15 minutes from Frankenmuth. However, we will not be staying here again. I would highly advise checking the room thoroughly before unpacking as the cleaning staff has been subpar since our last stay.

Stayed there this past weekend. I take cleanliness very serious and it was not great. A lot of things but I’ll just mention a few…The tub was not clean, the headboards had grease stains and splatter marks on them, and the walls were dirty, I even took a towel and wiped it to show the dirt residue. All shown in the pictures…DO BETTER!

Not sure how this hotel got the best reviews of all in town, there has to be better places than this. I got 2 rooms, neither one was clean, paint pealing off the tubs, one toilet has something wrong with the lever. Got 2 other rooms to look at, no better. Did get a bit of money off the rooms because of all this. Only reason i gave 2 stars is because of the lady at front desk trying to make it right. If there would have been any attitude it would have been one for sure

This was such a miserable stay I wish we would have just left. I PAID for this on Hotels.com.. When I got there the front desk girl, who has no customer service skills whatsoever, rudely informed me it wasnt paid for. But we were already there and she had charged my card so now it is my problem to find out if I was double charged or not.The hotel needs a lot of love. We paid $202 each for 2 rooms (total of $404) and I am disgusted that they think they can justify this price. We didnt sleep most of the night because the beds are awful, temp in the room is inconsistent and the hallway is noisy. Everything is super outdated. The girl at the desk told us they are aware that their bathtubs are crumbling and its going to be fixed a.k.a. don't complain about our rooms being crap because we already know. The hot tub is decent but there are no towels and the walls around it are crumbling.NOTHING in this hotel justified $200 a night. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else, anywhere else, literally a cardboard box, but don't stay here.

This is an older hotel that has had some appearance updates. The positive is it is inexpensive, close to both Birch Run Outlets and a short trip to Frankenmuth. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The hallways and stairs need some cleaning/remodeling. We found like many hotels the water pressure was not great but the bathroom was clean. The rooms are average. The AC worked great in the room. There is a hot tub and vending machines off from the lobby.

The hotel is being completely renovated from top to bottom, which is great. Our room 257 was great. That being said, the renovations happened to be going on at 9am, directly above my bed. I wish they would have warned us pre-check in.The indoor pool was heated and nice, and the jacuzzi was nice and hot. The continental breakfast of D.I.Y waffles, and sausage was good to. The coffee horrible lol.Overall it was a decent stay, despite the 9am pounding above my head

Hotel was under construction and workers were very rude! Felt like we were in there way. Staff at front desk was nice. Big clean rooms. Hot breakfast! Maybe better experience when construction is done.

We stay here every year. This year, we found the room large and well- appointed as usual, but beginning to show some age, for example, a few tears on the bedside lampshade.Although we paid the same rate each night of our stay, service and clean towels are by request only. Great location and friendly staff at desk.

We had a good stay while in town visiting Frankenmuth Winter Festival. The room was large and clean. The continental breakfast was great as well as a nice pool and hot tub. I gave it 4 stars because the bathroom sink was clogged. There was still water sitting in it when we woke up in from the night before, they could use more parking, and the tv was a little outdated.

The hotel is decent for a nights sleep. I was underwhelmed with the cleanliness of the grounds and my room. The parking lot is littered with empty cans, discarded cigarette packs, and hundreds of cigarette butts. Once I got up to my room I immediately noticed what looked like a wad of belly button lint and hair on one of the pillows on one of the beds. I quickly determine that was not the bet I was sleeping on. Inside the shower, the supplied shampoo and conditioner bottles both had mold near the dispensing caps. The top of the shower enclosure where it meets the wall was extremely dusty and filled with various hairs. I understand that I'm a bit taller so my vantage point of seeing these things is different, but these should not be overlooked aspects of cleaning.Aside from these issues, the rest of my stay was uneventful. The sheets were clean, inside the hotel it was quiet, and the front desk the staff were courteous and helpful. I would not put this near the top of my list of places to return to, however it's definitely not the worst that I've stayed in either. Just a few changeups with the overall housekeeping and grounds maintenance would go a long way to significantly improve the overall impression of a guest's stay here.Great location that makes it easy to get on/off the highway and it's located close to several eateries and shopping.
