Very much enjoyed my two night stay at this hotel in near town Baton Rouge. The rooms are larger than most and there is an assortment of different styles, bathtub, walk in showers and accessible rooms. My room could have used a little more counter space and the thermostat was dated. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The sports bar in the building is nice and offers specials during the week and LSU games. It is also the breakfast room. I look forward to staying here again. Recommended by BatonRougeWelcomesYou.com

This is another HI GEM within the IHG Family. The workout room was huge, immaculate, and luxurious feel to this hotel. Very little road noise. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. Shout out to Ms. Anita. Breakfast was hot and fresh...all thanks to her.

I take no delight in writing negative reviews but since I travel so often, I feel obligated to let people know what they may be getting into. I had stayed here before and had a wonderful experience, but this trip was awful.90% of all the towels (yes, I did the math) I picked up in the room, and in the gym, had hair in them. There was hair in my shower as well.Despite very friendly customer service upon check in, the hair in my room and in 90% of their towels ruined my experience here.I will be asking my employer to remove this hotel from our booking options.Their sister property next door seems to be managed much better, so I’ll go back to them next time. Both hotels have incredible gyms, but when you can’t find a towel without a hair in it, it ruins the experience

The hotel itself is great. The rooms, the staff, the amenities and the restaurant are all wonderful. Every single employee that we met, from the ladies at desk when we checked in to the housekeeping staff to the waitress we had at the hotel restaurant were so kind, courteous and helpful but most importantly they were all professionals who seem to take pride in their work. Just like we've all come to expect from every holiday inn we stay. Thumbs up to the manager in charge of this hotel! It's a really pleasant stay and whoever is doing the hiring at this hotel should be very proud because they have put together a really great staff! I didn't love the location but if you ever have to stay in Baton Rouge, I wouldn't even shop around, I would just book a room at this Holiday inn!

This was the worst hotel experience I have had in my 61 years of life. The front desk staff, Ashley, was next level rude when we requested bedding and a rollaway which had not been delivered 6 hours later. We were ready to go to bed, but did not have the bed or bedding and were told that there is only "one guy working and he will get there when he gets there! And for us to stop calling him and bugging her about it. She hung up and me and my son 3 times and screamed at us in the hotel lobby saying she was going to cancel our reservation and call 911 if we asked her again. A hotel staff was observing her yelling at us and apologized and let us know that we could call him if we needed anything. It was truly unbelievable. I reported this to the manager who had already heard about Ashley's behavior. The manager apologized, but I will never be staying at this hotel again. No compensation was offered.

Went to move my daughter and stayed here since it was close. Hallway, Lobby and breakfast area were so cold. No heat. The food was not the best either. Sausage was so dry, eggs had pepper and I’m not a fan of it already on there. No flavor creamer for coffee either. My room was a double room 310. I called and told them the vent wasn’t working and they said it did.. but look at the picture I attached. Felt it wasn’t that good of a hotel.

I came to LSU for a a last minute ER trip, first time at this overpriced hotel. The front desk lady was unprofessional by being a little rude/dismissive. Once I got to my room, it was ok nothing special. The shower was slow draining and too hot. The covers were thin leaving us freezing for most of the night as we couldn’t find the thermostat until I scanned the room. The thermostat was over the corner of the room difficult to find because of the bulky window shades.Breakfast was a continental breakfast that had nothing but apples to offer for fruit. Bacon was over cooked and no signage of what anything was i.e. eggs, grits, bacon, etc. yes its common sense however there were out of town guest that had no clue what grits were and I had to explain as there was no attended.

Large suites with, perhaps, dated decor. Good AC, TV, and a well fitted kitchen.Breakfast is a bit basic, and styrofoam cups are a disappointment. All staff were friendly and gave great service.Pool available if that's your thing.Right next to LSU, and walkable to the Tiger's stadium

I recently stayed at this hotel with my family and unfortunately, our experience was less than satisfactory. In the first room we were assigned, the toilet, outlets, and phone were not working properly. Additionally, my kids' room was infested with an abundance of ants on the window and wall, which was very unsettling. After requesting to be moved to two new rooms, we were disappointed to find that there was still no hot water available. While the ant problem was not as severe in the new rooms, it was still present and definitely put a damper on our stay.Overall, I was disappointed by the lack of maintenance and cleanliness at this hotel. I hope that they take steps to address these issues in the future to ensure a more comfortable and enjoyable experience for their guests. Surely not what I expected for the price of the rooms.
