Very disappointed! Booked a room a month in advance for my daughter’s 5th birthday. Prior to providing card information and confirming date - I specifically asked if the pool would be open late December, if it was heated, and could I host her party there? I was told “YES” to all three questions so I proceeded.

I called a week after booking to see if there were tables in the pool area or if I’d be able to get one for her party. I was told to call the day before check in and to ask for facilities to relay what I needed. The day before my daughter’s birthday/party I called about the table and was told I could not host a party at the pool! THE DAY BEFORE!!

I asked if they were able to see any notes from my previous calls or if a manager was available. I kept getting the run around. After being on hold for nearly an hr. an IHG rep asked if they could “call me closer to my check-in to confirm?” At this point I realize they are just saying whatever it takes to get money so I requested to cancel my reservations (before the 24hr notice deadline). I got put on hold again for nearly 15 mins then he said I couldn’t host at the Crowne Plaza but that the Holiday Inn was their sister hotel and I could host a pool party there….

I asked if he was positive and what the price difference would be? He explained that while I was on hold he was confirming that I could in fact host a pool party there and that all they needed to know was how much I intended on decorating. The price was relatively same so I let him know I just wanted one table with a table cloth, her cake, and a few balloons. He said it was fine as he was speaking with someone from the Holiday Inn and he confirmed. Instantly as I was transferred “Donovan” answered (at least that’s what he said his name was) and confirmed the reservations and asked to verify my card. When I asked about the pool he said I could not decorate or have anything at the pool but I was welcome to decorate her room. Frustrated, I asked what changed in the two minutes it took for me to be transferred and he said “my manager wasn’t around, now he is”. Needless to say I requested to cancel again. However, Donovan took it upon himself to be smug and get an attitude. I wouldn’t recommend either hotels for the “false advertisement” - blatant lies and their lack of respect for their guests.

Upon arrival, check in was a breeze. Staff was friendly and courteous. The room was clean and stocked. Breakfast was available but not complimentary. We considered the 12$ price but the fact that there were no pancakes or waffles was a deal breaker. Luckily there is an IHOP literally next door. But all in all, the experience was good. I would return if ever back in the area. I would recommend. Thank you 😊

This has got to be one of the worst places I have stayed. My room was right above the main desk, yet my WiFi was only two bars. Hardly enough bandwidth to stream anything. Could hardly even browse webpages. Decided to use the jack in the wall, couldn’t as it was dead. 2nd day found out the AC was leaking into the room by stepping in a soaked carpet near the window. Walls are so thin that I was kept up by the neighbors talking and eventually snoring. Ceiling is thin that simple walking sounds like people are jumping above you. They even lock the rear doors before 9pm. This stay was horrible. I do not recommend.

This hotel is conveniently located near my place of business. I stay here sometimes because of that convenience.
If you intend on using the fitness center, you might want to stay somewhere else. Missing dumbbells, broken smith machine and not one single cardio piece of equipment worked.

I'll never stay here again. The best part of this hotel is the restaurant bartender. on 9/19/2024 around 430pm.....

He's the only reason to stay here.

The location of this hotel was very quiet even though it was right next to I-30.
The customer service was fantastic checking & out.
Our room had a king size bed with ample room for the 2 of us to have our own space, a spacious bathroom which had Dove soaps & lotion to use to take your skin feeling softer than better 🩷
The only thing I didn't care for was the bed. I felt like I was sleeping on a slab of cement 😒 The pillows & blanket/sheets were fine though.
This hotel has an indoor pool and jacuzzi 🤤
We didn't get to try it out because we only stayed the 1 night, but, considering we live in the next town over & the incidental fee is only $20, we will definitely be back 👍
There is a restaurant on sight that is open till 10 pm if you don't feel like going out.

If you have fragrance sensitivity, you might want to consider a different location. Front lobby, hallways were overwhelming. The hotel room was okay, but the bathroom had a wet-dog smell. For some reason, my breathing felt congested.

I travel a lot for work and mostly stay in Holiday Inns. I never had this issue before.

Other than that, staff and service were good!

I am someone who books my stays based on reviews and also the reviews on breakfast accommodations. This is by far the biggest disappointment I have had in some time. They offered eggs, cheese, do it yourself waffles, bread, and cereal. The eggs were cold. I read the reviews and was looking forward to at the least the do it yourself burrito bar. No meats of any sort. You live and learn. There is an ihop across the street that was very good though.

The room was serviceable and it’s an ok hotel… but these are literally the worst pillows I’ve ever tried to sleep on. They are 1/3 of the size of a regular pillow and incredibly lumpy. Additionally, it’s on the highway and it’s loud. The combination of those 2 things is a good reason to just avoid this Best Western entirely.

This place used to be a good place to stay. Now there is hair in the showers and towels, no hand soap, and the breakfast isn't worth the elevator ride.

Horrible service

Got stuck at the airport and received a complementary stay from my airlines for this place. Called the number for the shuttle which was their front desk phone at least 5 times and had an employee at the airport call for their shuttle. No one picked up, so I had to spend $40 on an Uber just to get there. Once I arrived and told the young man at the host that was sitting on his phone, he seemed confused, so I call the same number and the phone rung right next to him. He apologized and I was furious I had just wasted all of that time and money because he could do his job. When checking out in the morning I asked the young women at the host for a manager and she said in a hostile tone that they weren’t there and that she would just let her manager know if I told her. I proceeded to ask for a number to call about this and she told me no. Just very upsetting and exhausting situation overall. You'd think if you were on the job you’d put your own phone down to answer your jobs phone.

Great choice for a short stay! Location is good and close to the interstate, restaurants, shopping, etc and fairly close to the airport. The room was clean, however, the mattress was doable and the pillows were small! A microwave and mini fridge are a nice touch. Cable TV was provided with lots of channels if you decide to stay in. Check-in was smooth and the staff was very nice, personable and professional. Southern (Texas) hospitality does go a long way! 😊 Breakfast area was exceptionally clean and spacious and the attendant, Sam, was super nice and gladly offered to assist! Overall, I'd recommend this location for budget-friendly travelers!

Dropped in to take my daughters to fright fest at six flags and this Hotel was a great deal for the price. The room was very clean and well stocked nice vaulted ceilings in our room . Has a lot of amenities on site which I thought was pretty cool. And let me tell you the continental breakfast was the best one I’ve been to for this rate. Lots of options to eat. Will definitely be pinning this hotel for our future visits to Dallas special thanks to SAM for helping us with our breakfast great staff A+++++

The hotel itself is wonderful!! Very clean, rooms are big and spacious, the customer services is amazing. Wonderful staff, breakfast was very delicious. I mean, they have it all, a coffee machine, a make your own yogurt machine. You can not beat this. Our stay was wonderful and most definitely will be back!!! The pool is great too!!

I got stuck on Dallas because of plane mechanical issues so the airline gave me a few options of hotels to stay at. I chose the Best Western as it had the best reviews, and I will agree! The room was extremely clean and tidy. The tv didn’t work though and shower head was a bit rough, but it was a perfect and safe place to sleep. The free breakfast was actually fabulous! Extremely clean, fresh feeling. They had make-your-own breakfast burritos, waffles, and cereal bar. It wasn’t fancy or anything, but it was clean and didn’t look like the food had been sitting out for ages like as some places. As a single woman traveling I felt very safe and taken care of.
