Nope. I do not recommend.
RestRoom smelled of urine and I couldn’t figure it out. The entire room reeked of urine. But, my nose knows and I found the answer.
You don’t get what you see on the website. They show a photo on the website of the room, then you get NoTell Motel room.
Urine stains under the restroom sink.. really GROSS!! I wound never pay to stay here.

The nightly value seems reasonable but the
Pet fee of $75 is a bit steep for one night of stay.
Shower was clean, and water was HOT. Enjoyed it. The complementary soaps were cleaned from last use(nozzles turned toward wall) I felt comfortable using. They have the snap in liners, so they are cleaned each use. I like this in hotels. Our shower did spray an excessive amount of water onto the bathroom floor.
The beds were comfortable, and clean. AC worked well and no leaks.

Curtains closed well to block out the parking lot/ city lights.

Staff at desk were kind, and worked fast to attend to each of us in line. Night auditor got on the floor, and hit it running. He was eager to help in co worker and those in line!

The breakfast cost extra, we did not opt for this. There is coffee in the lobby, it was delicious and enjoyable with creamer options.

Floor was wet around the AC unit. The walk in shower leaked and the seat didn’t fold up and stay in place. The pool needs desperate repairs. There was sand in the “kiddie pool” hot tub had no jets and we asked for towels and never were provided any. The people before us were given 3 hand towels! (Over 3 days it was never restocked) The front desk lady did not act like she liked her job and would rather enjoy her smoke breaks. At one point a guest was having an issue and she told them she couldn’t do anything and had to go through an app. The GM should be able to be contacted regardless of time. It was 8-9pm so not late. This place used to be nice but has gone downhill over the last several years. I’d pick another hotel!

The rooms were clean 🧼 and the beds were very comfortable! The people were nice. The issue I had was, We paid for 2 rooms. There was my husband and I. Our kids ages were 15, 13,12,9. We paid for their breakfast when booking. Then we had to pay extra for our 12 year old for an adult price at breakfast. On website 2 kids per adult was free. Yes she is 12 and the said that’s an adult price. That whole thing is confusing and I don’t get it. Breakfast was ok.

Staff was friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was also clean with plenty of room. Beds were a bit on the hard side but it was still quite comfortable. It was over 100 degrees and the AC worked very well. Price was much less than some of the other hotels in the same vicinity.

The only negative is that you have to drive through other businesses parking lots to get to the hotel. Pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things though.

We also left something in the room and didnt realize it until 4 days later after we got home. I placed a call to the hotel and spoke to Blanca at the front desk. After describing the item she located it in the lost and found and said she would ship it back to us. Thankful for the great customer service.

As long as the price stays lower than some of their competitors we will continue to stay here when we are in Amarillo

The room was tastefully decorated and clean. Beds were comfortable. Everyone was professional and I will certainly stay here again.

We booked this hotel through the holiday inn website over other hotels because it said it had a pull out couch and 2 queen size beds. We have a family of five. When we checked in the front desk was very busy. They gave us our keys and we went up to the room to discover there were 2 queen beds but no couch. We thought they simply made a mistake and gave us the wrong room. So we went back to the front desk. They informed us that they didn't havr the advertised room with a couch because the couch was broken. They had no solution for us and we were told we could not speak to the manager. I said this is unacceptable and that we would call the holiday inn corporate number. Only then did the manager come and speak with us. She informed us that no we weren't paying the extra money for the room with the couch and that they would bring us extra blankets for someone to sleep on the floor. They didn't have any sleeping cots. The rodeo was in town so there were no rooms at other hotels so we stayed the night but switched hotels for our return trip. This hotel is not well taken care of. The coffee pod machine didn't work. The desk was too high for the chair which didn't raise high enough to type on a computer comfortably. The shower was stained. The pool was dirty and there were no pool towels. The 11 dollar breakfast buffet was mediocre. I would expect a buffet like that to be free. It had eggs, Bacon, potatoes, yogurt, banana muffins, and 2 types of cereal. It was one of the cheaper rooms in town and you get what you pay for.

The pool and hot tub were both cold. The room was nice. Staff were fine, they seemed to have trouble cycling through guests at the front desk though because it took 25 minutes for them to work through 3 or 4 people.

Stayed July 2024 for one night. It's a more affordable hotel and right next to the Big Texan as well as the highway. The rooms were clean, and the employees were very kind. The only negative comment was that breakfast, although made by very kind employees, was subpar for having to pay.

I stay at a lot of hotels but not this one again. They routinely mess up their billing, charge for breakfast, but most of all just have a "your problem, not mine"attitude. They don't care if something isn't right and the manager refused to even talk to me. You can do much better for your money. Now I don't care.

stayed for 1 night and really was a let down for a Holiday Inn..they need a new manager and maintenance..i dont know who inspects these rooms but they need fired..pics are included..i expect more from Holiday Inn..this isnt a discount hotel..who ever is in charge of the bar needs fired..beer bottles and drink glasses still on the bar the next morning..someone is lazy..choose another place to stay..missing grout on the tile floor..dirty..just look at the pics..for the price i paid it wasnt worth it..this was Motel 6 quality..dont stay here..please note how they never respond to reviews because they dont care..3 star hotel???? give me a break..terrible

Very clean room and super nice staff. The lobby was super clean and really neat. The lady working the desk was super nice and very helpful and gave up advice on places to eat and places to visit while we were in town. The area was great with plenty of restaurants in the area and just a block or so away from the famous big streak restaurant. Quiet area that felt safe. The indoor pool and pool area were super clean and looked to be well maintained. The bar has great drinks with an awesome bartender. Didn't eat here but they did have an onsite restaurant that looked good. I would definitely recommend staying here if in the area.

Excellent staff! Mercedes the Restaurant/Cafe Manager really goes above and beyond to make your stay away from home fabulous. She has a great personality and accommodating to your dinning experience. Her friendliness her smile and laugh go for miles.
Mercedes was the only one on staff Saturday evening August 3rd turning a rainy night into a fun GAME NIGHT for all the guest stuck indoors from the horrific storm outside. Mercedes was quint essential and making Saturday a fun filled night gathering the guest getting them together very talkative even the kids at the pool we’re having a great time.
As a corporate trainer IGO everywhere nationwide. Going back to a hotel but you can Count in a fun staff and friendly smiles is what everybody wants. Definitely booking my stay there for any of my Amarillo Texas trips.
I will have to say that Mercedes is a key component for that holiday inn having at 5 star establishment.

One working elevator that the other didn't have an out of order on it. With the cleanliness of the room, we didn't realize the trash under our beds until the next day. The door to the bathroom is a sliding door and the track is tilted so it kept sliding open. On the second night staying, we had a family that had just arrived at 1 am given our room number. Luckily we locked the door, but the staff should have done a better job especially at 1 am! Pay to eat breakfast for adults, but there was nothing special and less food options than many other Holiday Inn Hotels we have been to.

Overall pleasant experience. The rooms were nice and the people were mostly friendly. Only complaint was being told that breakfast was included in our stay and then finding out the next morning that it was in fact NOT included and would be an additional $5/person. Personally I feel that paying $205/night for a hotel stay that breakfast should be included. The full breakfast buffet that was advertised was lacking. Bacon, biscuit, and egg pans were all empty. But I have to give major Kudos to the young man working the breakfast bar. He was bussing tables, prepping food, refilling stations all on his own. He kept a smile on his face and was very pleasant to everyone. And he refilled the food pans as fast as he could.

We stayed here April 3, 2024. The staff was very pleasant from check in to check out. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was grass for my mom's dog which made him very happy. The breakfast buffet for $5 is a good deal. The only issues were one of the key cards did not work and the landscaping needs some TLC as there are weeds in the flower beds and sidewalk.
