I never leave reviews but this place was amazing. I was blown away by how nice everyone was. Michael, at the front desk, helped us so much as we lost our car keys and needed some help, he pulled cameras and everything. It helped us immensely. The lounge waitress was so sweet and this hotel is so dog friendly, which is great. I would absolutely stay there again. The only negative was the room smell BUT it’s a dog friendly room so what can you do… otherwise I would say 10/10!! Thank you to everyone on the staff!!

I booked a jacuzzi suite for my husband and I for our Anniversary. We never get to get away for the night, so we were looking forward to our stay. I called the day before to confirm my reservations as I always do. The clerk said everything is confirmed for the jacuzzi suite. Great! The next day we arrive, check in and we are given a basic room. I told the front desk attendant that I booked a jacuzzi suite for my Anniversary. I even noted in the memo "this is a special anniversary" She told me all those suites are booked and I was booted to a basic room. There was nothing she could do. She spoke to the GM, who was too busy to come out and talk to me because she was training a new employee at the bar!!! Too busy to speak to a customer, ok! The desk attendant told me that they called someone from upper managment and they will speak to us and "make us happy" Well, I never heard anything more about that! No one contacted us, no one cares! There is about 4-5 other hotels in the immediate area that we could of booked with jacuzzi suites, but they already charged my card. I guess they think it's ok to change people's plans. This is the second VERY negative experience in a row that I have experienced with Choice Hotels. No one cares enough to contact you when there is an issue.Back to Marriott I go, least they provide great customer support. Would highly NOT recommend !!!

Oh my god, my room was so pungent in the mold/mildew smell i started to feel nauseous after an hour. Through out the day, I started to receive migraines and felt too sick to leave.I decided to leave the next day because there is no way I would accept another room if they had rooms like THATThey really should get rid of their yucky stained carpeting to solve 60% of the smell issue.Never coming here again. Staff was cool though.

Their service is good and respectful but the second I walked into my hotel room, it was like the atmosphere got heavier.Musky and damp, the sheets feel dingy. I tolerated everything else but golly the smell of my room was so foul it induced nausea. It was god awful pungent. Comfort inn, do yourself a favor and get rid of your bedroom carpet. Might fix 60% of the problem.

This was probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my entire life. The front desk is empty half of the time so you have to wait for somebody to show up to help you out. Before you know it, you’ll have a line of 6 people formed and they’ll be all over the place trying to figure out where to put you.The choicehotels app doesn’t make sense either because I got charged a few weeks ago when I booked this and then again when I checked in. Don’t know why.I bought a bag of chips from the vending machine on the 3rd floor and the chips expired in 2021. The second you get onto the 3rd floor, the hallway straight up smells like old baby diapers and the rooms just smell musty and moldy. Also, my room had a door that connects to the next room over. In the room next to me, the person had a dog and the dog kept jumping on the door and barking. The barking scared my son and made him cry. He’s 1. The more the dog jumped, the more my son cried, which caused the dog to bark even more. They also have a menu of false advertisement listing various beverages, drinks, and meals that are supposedly available. However, I stayed for 3 days and nothing was available any of the days. I couldn’t even get water to use to make my son’s bottle. The bottled water they store downstairs for breakfast is gone after 9am, nobody is selling any at the “bar”, and the vending machines are sold out. They have a dispenser with lemon water, but my son is allergic to lemon so that didn’t work either. Don’t know why they have lemon water instead of regular water. Also, the complimentary breakfast looks and tastes disgusting. The eggs are stale and look like crap, the bacon is raw, and potatoes are undercooked. Also, my room didn’t have soap. Truly a nightmare.

If I could put zero stars I would, the service was terrible, the front desk dressed unprofessional, the room floor was horrendous, hair on the sofa bed, musty smell, breakfast was nasty it made me sick. Garbage! Under the beds!! Scratched up furniture, easily clogged toilet, and sink. The wallpaper in the hallway peeling. The "Smart TV" doesnt even work!!! The curtains smelled and had an odd stain. I shouldn't have to see all of this if the staff cleaned and checked all of this. I do not recommend this hotel if you want to have a good time and relax.

Loved this hotel. Staff is wonderful, room was very nice and hotel was beautiful. The PPL center was right there easy to walk to, and I felt safe walking to and from it back to the hotel. We took advantage of the valet parking for $35 well worth it, and ate at the hotel restaurant as well as visited the bar before and after the show we went to. The drinks are well made, and the food was delicious. (Breakfast) We will definitely return!!!

Great stay and the staff is excellent. Room was clean and spacious. We were here for a concert and this was super convenient to everything you need. Only issue was that the bed in 416 was WAY too soft and I ended up on the pull out for a while until going back. I do like a firm matress but my wife and I were laughing how soft this one was especially on one side which happened to be mine. Great stay and definitely recommend

First of all, Steven (spelling?) is the most phenomenal hotel manager ever! All of the staff were incredibly helpful and made my sister’s wedding weekend so special. All of the guests mentioned to me at some point how amazingly accommodating the staff was. Steven went out of his way to get us a van to the venue down the street and personally drove us so our hair and makeup stayed perfect. When I forgot something majorly important for the wedding, he personally went and retrieved it from our suite and walked it back to us. He was so thoughtful to give us sewing kits just in case! Additionally, Christina was so kind and helpful during the after party. Joel prioritized our guests and all of the staff service for the meals was so thoughtful. Jalil was so helpful and everyone was raving about his stellar work doing valet and even more than that looking out for everyone throughout the weekend. Thank you so much to Americus for the above and beyond hospitality! We will all remember this weekend for a lifetime.

We stayed at the Americus for my stepdaughters wedding weekend. Driving up, the valet staff were helpful, friendly and professional. The staff at the front desk were also very friendly and helpful. Full of smiles for our big weekend. I had some business with the catering department and Ann - who was a delight to work with, directed me to Steven. He was at the front desk and I can say.... What a lovely young man! He made himself available to us should we need anything, he was so polite and friendly. What an asset to the company! We had a wedding dinner and a wedding breakfast at the Americus and it was fabulous! The food was great, the rooms were set up beautifully and the staff was excellent. The Americus and their staff made our stay a memory for life during one of our most wonderful times to see our daughter get married. Kudos to all of you!! Thank you.

My colleagues and I travel for work and stay at the hotel quite often. This hotel , the manager , staff and operations are unmatched. The Manager is the sweetest.. he is passionate about customer service and hospitality and goes above and beyond in his industry. He is friendly , accommodating and extremely knowledgeable of the area. Every time we have gone down to the lobby, he or the staff will ask how everything is. One of the best hotels, the stay is nothing but quality. The cleanliness, quality of towels, sheets; every detail is accounted for.
