I checked in today and have been very disappointed to the point of leaving a review - which I never do. I inquired about valet (there are spaces clearly marked for hotel valet in the garage) as I have a 6am flight when I depart and need to leave early. As a single woman with a lot of luggage (this is part of a longer trip), I didn't think I would feel safe going to my car at 4 a.m. to an external garage on my own and was trying to find the safest solution once I realized the setup of parking. Valet is not available until 2 or 3 p.m. - and not available that early in the morning to have them bring my car to me. I was told, "Security is out there, you can't see them, but they can see you." Reassuring.
Then when I asked about parking, I was told they would bring me the parking pass and slip it under my door - never happened and I had to go back to check on it. It was just sitting at the front desk.
Tried to have dinner at the restaurant - ordered a simple rigatoni dish, waited a really long time for it, and the pasta was WAY undercooked. The bartender said, "Well, I didn't cook it." and kept saying over and over, "Don't shoot the messenger." I told her that I know how a restaurant works and I wasn't doing that.
Not a great attitude from her, AWFUL pasta that was unedible to the point of I tried and had to spit it out into a napkin...and she told me they said it was served al dente.
It wasn't al dente. It was "Oh crap, we forgot to make her meal, drop the pasta in for a second and take it out."
I have no idea how this hotel has the ranking it has.
