It was an average hotel. It’s a little older so so expected defects. Rooms were average hotel clean. Didn’t use the pool area. Check in and out was easy. Not a lot of vegan options for breakfast other than instant oatmeal. They had a decent breakfast for meat eaters. I’d stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! It's located near a lot stores and easy enough to get to. Our room was fresh and clean and with many amenities available. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The pool and gym area were tidy and a nice experience for the family. We really enjoyed staying. Since I'm from this area and have stayed over in many of its available hotels and motels, I'd say Stoney Creek is one of the top 3 and I would definitely come back! Thank you to the wonderful staff!

All staff from the front desk to the bar were very friendly, smiley, and so polite. Our room was a king suite with a jacuzzi in the bedroom. Tub was clean, well kept, and fully working. Toilet hardly flushed and had to be flushed more than once to get it to to completely work but other than that the room was in good condition. Sheets were clean and soft. Hotel is literally next door to waffle house so we chose that over the hotels breakfast but i did hear their breakfast was pretty decent. Pool and hot tub were both open but hottubs jets did not work. Good stay, experience, very minimal things were an issue I'd say.

Pros: Aesthetic, it's so cute with all the little details to feel like you are in a lodge. When you walk in you are greeted with a cinnamony-vanilla smell that's heavenly. The staff was great! Close to Mizzou. It had a really nice bar area, I didn't get a drink so I can't speak on the quality but it was a really nice area. The pool was nice. Good selection for breakfast. Biscuits and gravy, eggs, fruit, yogurt, bagels, pancakes, cereal and oatmeal.

Cons: The beds were not comfortable, it felt like a step up from an air mattress with springs. The bedding was really thin. Our bathroom sink didn't drain and the bathroom was a little on the small side. The air/heat unit didn't have an option for a constant fan option so you had nothing to drown out the hallway noises. There are only two small lamps in the room, even with the curtains open the room was still dark.The hot tub area is a little worn down.

Front desk staff could be a lot nicer less stuck up. They treat everybody who comes through there like they are a bother.
I am updating my review because clearly Stoney Creek Management could care less how people are treated. The price point they are at demands that they treat all visitors with the respect that they deserve. I have used this facility and recommended this facility several times the only drawback is The staff. However, that does not include all staff. I'm referring directly to front desk staff. In planning a large family gathering some family members of myself went to this location to ask the front desk, some questions. There was absolutely nobody as far as customers at the front desk and the entire time we were there nobody was checking in however, the staff could not or would not answer any questions. A maintenance man came by and started answering our questions and in fact took us on a full facility tour. We were very impressed that he took his time out to answer the questions that front desk wouldn't bother to answer. In the end we chose to go elsewhere despite our wonderful tour because of front desk staff.
The response to my previous review was thanks for the great review clearly they don't read them or care .

I travel for work every single week, and I'm in a LOT of hotels. The staff at the Tiger will always stand out as some of the best hotel staff ever for me. This week I was there for 4 days and while I am normally very low maintenance, I had a couple minor issues (mine, nothing with the hotel) and the staff were all very kind and responsive and helpful. I will call out two in particular - Brandy the overnight lady at the Front Desk, and Amber with housekeeping. Again, I had minor asks, but they were just so kind and helpful that it really stood out for me.

The room is wonderful. The staff have been very helpful. I have a 2500 pick up truck that is too tall to fit in the parking garage they use. The one staff member saw a meter spot opened up and went to stand in it so I could move my truck. Valiant effort! Too bad someone half parked in the spot near him...so it was gone by the time I got back. They allowed me to park in their valet overnight. The customer service alone is reason enough to stay here over any other hotel in the area. They truly care about you.

Fun to stay at a historic hotel, but not inclined to return. Staff was very helpful. Quite pricey - for example, we parked in their parking garage for 2 hours and our spot was way up on top and it cost $18. Restaurant was okay, room was nice, great bathroom and view.

I have never wrote a negative review on a business ever, but the way I was just treated and disrespected by the "manager" Sydney, I just had to share. I fell sick this week and completely forgot to cancel my reservation for this weekend, my fault totally. I let her know that I understood that I was cancelling last minute and said I was fine with paying for tonight, I just wanted to let them know I would not be there and to cancel it so it would open up the remainder of the weekend. The reservation was booked through a 3rd party so I was told I had to contact them, I did and they told me that I needed to contact the hotel. So as you can imagine I was getting very frustrated not getting any answers from anyone. I have also saved the chat with the 3rd party which stated the conversation they had with the hotel. They also told me they spoke with Sydney and that I need retro reach out to Tiger. So I finally got connected to Sydney and not only was she very dismissive about me being frustrated about the situation and that all I wanted to know is the reservation was cancelled and to move on with my evening, she also continued to laugh on the phone as she was telling me there was nothing she could do. I asked her if she was really laughing and she told me that it was just her voice, yeah ok. Then she proceeded to giggle and say once more there was nothing she could do and hung up on me. It's so disappointing because my husband and I have stayed there before. It is probably one of the most expensive hotels in the area, but we liked the location. I work in an industry where I also deal with people day in and day out and never in my wildest dreams would I ever disrespect someone the way that Sydney did me tonight.

The best hotel in Columbia. Rooms are stylish, clean and comfortable. The staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience. The restaurants have amazing food and great cocktails too. Glenn’s Cafe has an excellent list. We won’t stay anywhere else.

As an entertainer, I am often inside many hotel ballrooms hired by various different companies to entertain them and let me say this hotel is one of my new top five hotels in the United States. Everybody that works there the entire staff is incredible and so helpful. They welcomed me set me up in my little green room and just took care of me and all my needs. Let me say this hotel is beautiful and very designed well. The decor, the hallways the antiquity of the entire space is well done and just suitable for any event. The food was outstanding and there wasn’t a single complaint from the 150 people that attended my event were everyone just enjoyed themselves. I cannot wait to return to the Tiger hotel in Columbia, Missouri. Thank you for making my work so easy by taking care of all my needs.
