I stayed here the other day. I utilized the valet service for my car, and both employees who helped me were extremely friendly and professional. The $54 price point for the valet is worth it, especially when there is a lack of public parking garages in the area.
I did check in via the Marriott mobile app, which went smooth like always. I stopped by the front desk on my way in to pickup a set of physical room keys as well. The front desk employee was extremely friendly, giving me information about the hotel and nearby businesses.
I also got upgraded to a larger room which was nice. I was a Marriott Bonvoy Silver member at the time of that visit so upgrades are far and between, but this spot got me with a higher floor and slightly larger room! Nice.
The room itself was decent. Of course like any other downtown city hotel which isn't brand new there is some wear and tear, however everything for the most part is well maintained. Room was clean and had all the necessary amenities. No microwave or safe however. My bathroom had 2 showers in it which I have never seen before.
Decent location - nice assortment of dining and transportation options. I saw Lime scooters scattered across the front of the hotel, and a Waymo self driving taxi as well.
Very nice experience here, I strongly recommend this for those needing an overnight accommodation in Midtown ATL.
