Wow! Is all I can I say. I lived in arizona for a year but never seen this side of az. Paradise valley is beautiful! The views from this resort of camelback mountain is 10/10! The room was spacious, clean and well designed. Spacious outside patio. The soap and lotion smelled divine! I will be back

We had an all day management meeting and reserved a conference room. It was unbelievably noisy due to another group being in the next conference room. Room was not setup. Lunch was sandwiches served in zip lock bags, pasta salad served in small plastic to go cups. No service through the day for drinks or water refill. Very disappointing experiance. Prefer we never go back here for management planning meetings. Food and drinks in the restaurant at the end of the day was good but was not part of the conference room reservation.

Mountain Shadows never disappoints. Been an in house guest once and the service was superb. Came in for drinks this evening with co workers and Rhonda took exceptional care of us in the bar. She provided amazing service as well as knowledgeable food and drink suggestions and descriptions. Definitely will sit in the lounge/bar and ask for Rhonda again. She will go far at Mountain Shadows!!! 4 diamond service from her.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Mountain Shadows! The location is fantastic — close to downtown Scottsdale but far enough away to feel quiet and serene. Every staff member is smiling and has a positive, helpful attitude. Rooms are clean, updated and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for. Views are beautiful. The par 3 course is great — my 14 year old son and I played two fun rounds. The Rusty’s staff and golf staff took great care of us. Rental clubs were great (Ping G440s in great shape). Finally, we had fantastic meals at the restaurant — get the pork chop!!Highly recommend Mountain Shadows!

We loved the resort so much we came back at the end of our holidays in Arizona. The setting is stunning and very relaxed. Rooms are great size and design. The food on the site is delicious with lots of healthy options. The gym is well equipped. The landscape is beautiful. The Camelback mountains is nearby which is great for hiking.

Beautiful setting with lovely views throughout the hotel. The beds are excellent, on the firmer side while still being quite comfortable in any position. Modern room layout with large, glass enclosed walk in shower. Outdoor hot tub after a long bike ride or hike was nice! Excellent on-site restaurants!

Service here is excellent! Clean villatas, friendly staff, easy check-in, the quiet pool is nice. The "quiet pool" could be bigger, but overall, a reasonable price for quality accommodations for the weekend!

How anyone could leave a negative review for this property boggles my mind. My husband and I have traveled to Scottsdale for the past three years for our anniversary and the Sheraton Desert Oasis Villas is by far the best place we have stayed. We enjoyed having a small kitchen to make some simple meals, a comfy living room for tv watching, and a cozy and comfortable bedroom AND access to a washer and dryer making visiting the amazing pool and whirlpool every night easy to do. The staff was so friendly and so accommodating making us feel absolutely welcome and special. The location is also excellent, it was close to all the restaurants we wanted to visit, shopping, etc. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed our vacation and can’t wait to visit here again!

Loved this hotel !! 11 days of quiet and relaxing winter break with our two young kids. The pool is nicely heated - hot tub is great too. Two playgrounds on site for kids - both in nearly new condition. Staff were so friendly and helpful.I’d definitely go back and am already thinking about dates.Opt for the larger 1 king bed room if you’re 4 people!

I recently stayed at this property with some friends for a fun girl's weekend. We were collectively all so impressed by what a great value this room was! There were 5 of us and we booked a large 2-bedroom suite without realizing it was basically two different suites that were connected, so we had 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and 2 sleeper sofas! We were more than comfortable and pleasantly surprised! The pool area is gorgeous, they had a DJ out there playing music during the day and they have a "quiet pool" nearby if that isn't your thing. Parking was definitely limited as we stayed on a very busy summer weekend, but this is a great option for a family or extended fun weekend!

We were put in a handicap room. At first it didn't seem like a big deal, but then you realize that there are many differences. The tub/shower has 4 hand rails and a fold down chair. This along with the low sides of the tub mean baths are not an option and to take a shower you have to be very careful not to bump into one of the many hand rails. There are no drawers in the bathroom, not a one, so ALL of your makeup and toiletries go on top of the vanity, the makeup mirror is mounted very low, useless, unless seated in a wheelchair. The kitchen is set up the same way, drawer storage was sacrificed for wheelchair access. Kitchen counter space was sacrificed for a large counter top microwave oven. While in the kitchen we noticed that the refrigerator door was opposite of what it should be. Whether standing or in a wheelchair the refrigerator door opens left to right, not right to left which would be correct for the kitchen layout. Not a big issue for a standing person, but for someone in a wheelchair, and in a handicap room, I'm sure you will get more complaints. The closet in our suite was also an issue because the coat hanger/shelf was mounted low, again for wheelchair access. We specifically asked for a non handicap room, as we have experienced this before. We were flexible on our reservation dates, but were still put in this handicap room. "This was the only room we had when you checked in" is what we were told when we called the front desk. We should have been told when the reservation was made that the only room available was a handicap room. The room is clean, furnishings are nice and fast WIFI.Cheers.
