Awesome place to stay in a really cool, laid back town. Everything you could possibly need is within walking distance. Excellent experience all around. Loved both rooms that I stayed in, so cute and great views. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Such a great luxury spot! I surprised my husband for our 20-year anniversary with a jacuzzi room, and we went to see Kevin Hart! Room 432 was perfect. It was super foggy, so we didn’t see much of the view until the next day, but it was worth the wait! The location is fantastic—everything is within walking distance. The valet parking was a bit pricey($45), but overall, we had a great experience. The only issue was that the ice freezer had melted ice bags inside. We let the front desk know, but it never got fixed, so there was none on the 4th floor.

First time staying, chosen at random. Valet was easy, friendly, check in was easy, check out even easier. The hotel is really unique in its style. Great location, walkable to restaurants, shops, Aura. The bed is really comfortable. Loved the pillows. Large bathroom with tub and shower next to each other. My only suggestion is to salt and sand the sidewalks and entry ways. It was very icy.

The hotel location was fantastic, centrally located and could walk anywhere. The hotel suite was so beautifully decorated. There were complimentary coffee, tea and cookies on each floor, which was a great touch. Moreover option to make hot coco which the kids really enjoyed and it was complementary. The lobby was beautiful and nicely decorated for the holidays. The only negative is the destination that get automatically added and upon check-in the front desk didn’t disclose it nor how to use, good thing i read their disclosure and we used it to purchase unnecessary items in their market otherwise would lose the $35 daily fees.Overall - we really enjoyed our stay there.

My overall experience here was wonderful. We stayed for 3 nights. Katie the hotel manager was simply the best, Liz the bartender in the whiskey lounge was also wonderful. The hotel was very clean and we enjoyed our stay. The spa services were great but a tad bit expensive. I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint is about Megan from the spa. I accidentally booked my services for the wrong day and she was very rude about rescheduling them. I understand it was my error and appreciated them accommodating me but her condescending attitude wasn’t necessary.

This was my first trip to Portland and the experience was absolutely amazing thanks to the Regency staff. The room was spacious, the spa and massage was relaxing, and everyone was so kind. My favorite part was meeting Arianna, the lead bartender, at the Armory. She is exceptional at creating delicious cocktails, like the Love Potion #9 and a fruity style old fashioned, and was extremely friendly and helpful. My boyfriend and I looked forward to visiting the Armory each night, knowing she would be there attending us. We also met Liz at The Iron side bar upstairs, and she shared information about the hotel and city while we relaxed near the fireplace. If you had any question about staying here, here is your answer. Book at this hotel! You will be glad you did. I'm already looking forward to returning in a few months and will stay here again. Thank you again Arianna for your suggestions and kindness.

Stayed for a short overnight trip in the off-season. Got a great deal through Travelzoo that included a breakfast credit and valet. Amazing value. The room was spacious and comfortable with a huge bathroom. The balcony was nice and would be great during the spring and summer. The location is perfect and you can walk right down to the main street of Old Port and check out all the shops. We ate at the return in the hotel and the food was delicious. We will definitely come back when we visit this area again.

Great rates during the winter especially with the use of the hot tub, sauna, and steam room however only open between 8 am to 6 pm. We got the breakfast package which I figured meant breakfast was included but it is $20 off per person of your breakfast at the hotel restaurant. You will pay more than 20 bucks for most breakfast meals. It’s good food just expected breakfast to be covered if I pay for the breakfast package. Location is excellent for walking around all of Portland. The front desk was very helpful and the valets were helpful and kind too. Overall a great experience!! I would stay again definitely.

Do not choose if you are a business traveler and need a work desk - none in room. They let you use a "mobile table" from the front desk. Who doesn't have a work desk in an upscale hotel. I can't rebook this room due to that fact alone. The bed was comfortable. The heat/ac worked great and fast. The bathroom was very nice. The location was perfect. The valet guys were sensational. Seemed really noisy outside every morning.. weird. This was my 6th different hotel in the area, and I would look forward to my 7th.
