From the moment my wife and I drove up the cobblestone driveway at the Royal Palms Resort, it felt like we had been transported to another world. The towering palm trees and serene ambiance immediately set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable stay. The valet team greeted us warmly and wouldn’t even let us touch our luggage—they personally escorted us to the front door and then to our room. For our anniversary, the staff went above and beyond to make the occasion truly special. We were surprised with a beautiful room upgrade, a platter of chocolate-covered strawberries, and a bottle of champagne. What stood out even more was their thoughtful touch—they knew I don’t drink alcohol, so they provided me with a non-alcoholic alternative, ensuring the night felt just as celebratory for both of us.Dinner was exceptional, not only for the food but for the experience. The Chef personally came out to greet us and even brought a delicious starter as a special gesture. It’s rare to find that kind of attention to detail and care these days. The next day, we indulged in treatments at the spa, and I have to say—it was a slice of heaven. My wife and I enjoyed incredible treatments in a private room, followed by some much-needed time to relax and soak in the tranquility. Our mini escape ended on another high note, thanks to the valet team. They were so kind and thoughtful, leaving chilled water bottles in the car for our departure. The Royal Palms Resort truly excels in creating not just a stay but an experience. Every staff member we encountered made us feel valued and celebrated. This wasn’t just a getaway—it was a memory we’ll treasure forever.

Had one drink at the Royal Palms wanted to stay for two but the service was so miserable in the bar and the bartender and whoever else was behind the bar weren’t very friendly - they Didn’t acknowledge anybody. I waited 15 minutes from my water. The guy next to me said I guess I’m not gonna have a happy hour drink again because it was now 6:05- You guys need to figure it out.. I used to frequent the place, but no more.

The hotel is beautiful with several seating areas, pool and fountains. The rooms were nice and clean. T. Cook's was a nice place to eat with great food and service. This is a very nice to stay.

Room nice but strange layout. Service good. Resort fee of $50 is outrageous. What exactly are you getting for this....a free welcome drink or anything else. The answer is NADA. Another huge complaint is that no self park. Mandatory valet which is $40, which is ridiculous and amounts to highway robbery. Bar is beautiful but seriously...simple coctail for $23. Unless you're rich and don't care about cost, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I cannot say enough good things about this resort! From the moment you step into this paradise, you’re greeted by a breathtaking entrance lined with majestic trees imported from Saudi Arabia. The gardens are enchanting, featuring lemon, lime, and orange trees alongside several stunning species of cacti. The intricate tile work throughout the property and its rich historical context create a unique charm, while the awe-inspiring view of Camelback Mountain is truly unforgettable. This place was the perfect backdrop for our important event. The casitas are beautiful, each featuring its own fireplace, and they exude a rustic yet elegant ambiance that made our stay even more special. I would absolutely love to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience!

I was lucky enough to stay at this location for a Sales Conference and I was blown away. From the time I arrived to the time I left. The service was top notch and staff was outstanding. My room was amazing and very comfortable bed. I wish I had brought my wife she would have loved the spa and pool area. Great location and I hope to bring my wife here (or send her on a girls trip)

This historic resort has endless reasons why it deserves five stars. First off the property is utterly charming, well maintained, and despite the room count it feels very intimate and quiet. The staff are helpful, friendly, and readily available. And the room we had was well appointed, spacious and comfortable. Nothing to complain about with this stay - at perfect hotel that we found romantic and special. When we went to hike Camelback they offer free hiking packs which is a nice touch. Wes, who gave us a the included historic tour, was especially wonderful.Be sure to check out TCooks if visiting. It was delicious!

Really nice resort. The company hosting me took over the whole place. Staff was great. Restaurant was great. Spa was nice. Too hot to use pool. Not noisy. Can see mountains. Rooms were somewhat dated but not bad, more of a classic style.

I had my wedding here and it was beautiful! I didn’t give a 5 star because there were some small errors made on my wedding day. Otherwise, it was nice..

The pro shop is very nice, conditions are excellent. The layout is challenging but fair. The sand bunkers had enough sand. For the price, it was a solid deal. The service could have been better. There wasn't anyone to manage the golf clubs on and off the cart, but then again....not sure if this particular course offers this service but we went to six different courses and Legacy was the o KY one that had less staff. We enjoyed ourselves nonetheless.

we stayed for a week. the staff were very helpful and friendly. the suite was very roomy and had a kitchen so we didn't have to eat out every day. I would stay there again the next time we go to Phoenix. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

Overall, a nice stay. The staff was friendly and the room was quite clean with the exception of a few hairs left in the bathroom. Also, the table on the balcony had some type of droppings on it.It was nice having a kitchen and dining area. Some of the furniture appeared slightly worn but overall nice. There is also an issue with hearing the neighbors on either side of you. The grounds are well-kept but it is in an isolated area. The location is great if you want to be secluded but not for those looking for things within walking distance. In the end, I would visit again.
