I stayed at the Omni Hotel Saturday December 21to Tuesday December 24. Was to leave on Christmas Day but due to room being so cold I left early. The staff was very kind and tried to as helpful as possible by offering more blankets, never an offer to another room. At least 7 times I would ask about the heat. The answer would be they worked on your area today and it should be watm.Nope! 2 days I didn't shower afraid I'd freeze to death. Outside would get up to 60 but in the rooms 40's.Compensation nothing. I booked through a company. They would have to compensate.,the hotel could have at least paid for mealsI had a wine chiller but no frig, no microwave and our choice of room service or not.I don't recommend staying there because not one person knew what was going on. Iv stayed at 3 different omni resorts over the past 4 years and have never had an experience like this. Staff were incredibly rude, refused to honor a giftcard on my honeymoon, and the rooms were old, smelly, and cramped.Real dump of an experience

Spent Christmas at the Omni, and let me tell you—it’s got ✨vibes✨. Gorgeous chandeliers, live piano music, and the friendliest staff. Oh, and they greeted me with champagne and cake for my birthday. 🥂🎂 Talk about feeling *fancy*!The heated pool upstairs? Total surprise. 🔥💦 Too bad I didn’t pack a swimsuit, but now I have a reason to come back (besides the cake).Location? Perfection. 👌 Steps from everything, plus you can people-watch right from your window. 📸Only downside? The bathrooms are a little...vintage. 🚿🕰️ But honestly, who cares when everything else is *chef’s kiss*? Can’t wait to return! 🥳

The location can't be beat!Beautiful, old hotel. The decorations for Christmas are lovely. Hot chocolate service on Friday night was a nice touch.Servers are very friendly and helpful. We had a premier room with a balcony. Rooms aren't very big. Bathroom is small. Not worth getting the balcony because the view is scaffolding and construction of the local Supreme Court.

Love the location and room accommodations. Parking at the hotel was very convenient. Everyone from the parking valet, checking in to bell hop were super friendly and very helpful. If you have plans to stay in the French Quarters I recommend the Omni Royal.

Here's a polished version of your review:---The location of this hotel is outstanding! It's within easy walking distance of many fantastic restaurants, and despite being in the lively French Quarter, it manages to stay relatively quiet. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the parking attendants are efficient and quick to retrieve your car. We appreciated the in-and-out service, which made it easy to drive to restaurants that were a bit too far to walk to in dressier clothing. That said, housekeeping left much to be desired. They could really benefit from a checklist to ensure everything is done properly. For example, they often forgot to leave coffee cups. One night, we even requested some, but they never arrived. When we checked in, I was thrilled to find chamomile and Earl Grey tea bags, as I'm a tea lover. However, the experience quickly became frustrating. I left a tip and asked for more tea bags, only to receive green tea K-Cups instead (which I dislike), however, I hadn't specified so that's fair enough. The next day, I left another tip and specifically asked for black tea. They took the tip but left no tea at all. Refilling the coffee and tea station was a hit-or-miss ordeal every day.Other small details were also overlooked, like replacing the ice bucket liner or spare toilet paper. While these may seem minor, they added up and became a source of irritation. Eventually, I just bought my own tea bags to ensure I could start my day with a smile.

It's cute. The rooms r clean, but small, tiny no ventilation bathroom, but cute... if your not picky (which I'm not) they r usable and fine! The room itself was small, and most outlets didn't work or were super loose(nothing held into the outlet) but, we found usable ones. The bed was soft and nice pillows...The service was mostly attitude and not time to bother with you, but the concierge was nice...helpful.All in all... mostly the location, local legal mugging, and the service gave it lower ratings.I'd only come here if I know the area and the people

So where do I begin. My husband and I decided to stay here for our anniversary. The machines don’t hit anything. The cocktail servers never come. The drinks from the bartenders were ok. My husband and I were ready to leave for the night and they lost the keys to my husband car in the casino valet. Drivers just stood their looking clueless.

I do understand that this place was busy New Year's Eve. This business should have tried to prepare for that. As soon as the three of us sat down, we ordered a drink from the machines. The waitresses here don't walk around taking orders. You have to order from the machine you're playing. Within a half hour, one person from my group got their drink. Two or more hours later, my nephew and I got our drink. The drink was not worth the wait. The machine stated that the drink was on its way. The waitress must have walked from another state to bring the drinks. So, we didn't get a chance to toast the new year in. This machine was tight. Also, something must have happened in the hotel. They shut down two elevators so that two stretchers could go up on them. The third elevator was operated by a man letting a few ppl at a time on it. When the other two elevators came down, the stretchers had something on them covered up. It appeared to be bodies.

Awesome visit. The staff at the desk was super friendly. After going thru the tunnel ran into a familiar face from 5 months ago, Tremica she recalled us right off the bat. Once in the casino we ran across Cocoa and George after talking for a few minutes we felt like I was talking to my family. That must be a Nawlings thing to make people feel so welcome.Only issue I don't think they have enough servers, but that's okay they get the job done. If your coming to win it's a possibility, if you coming to lose that's a possibility as well. If your visiting to enjoy yourself well that definitely will happen. I seen hand pay outs and some you could just cash out at the machine.Overall I enjoy the atmosphere and knowing the people who work here are friendly and quick to help. We can't wait for our next visit, looking forward to seeing my new extended family.
