Personal at reception not organize the wait is longer than expected. People from the rooms service were nice and responded pretty fast. The first room was not the one I chose so I had to pay more to have the one that I want but the building were not good enough smells Marihuana everywhere the view was just old people in the pool and not fun. Timeshare time was over 90 min but the person was really polite nice and friendly. It is a nice place but always crowded no parking. I wish I had a better view and a new room paying extra for 2 nights

After a long day of traveling, all we wanted was to get to our room and rest. Unfortunately, at Parkway, that turned out to be a long and frustrating process.First, be cautious of the online images. My wife specifically booked a spacious room with a tub, but at check-in, we were informed that it wasn’t included. The check-in process itself was painfully slow, taking nearly 45 minutes. Just when we thought we were done, we were sent to yet another line to “get our parking permit” which was really just a tactic to push sales for tickets and other add-ons. As a family with two small children, all we wanted was to settle in, but instead, we were forced to wait even longer for something that could have easily been handled at check-in.To make matters worse, we requested a crib for our kids, and despite multiple calls, it took two hours to arrive. When it finally did, it was missing the pad, meaning we had to request another one, adding another 30-minute wait. Our babies go to bed at 7 PM, yet by almost 10 PM, we were still waiting for a complete crib setup. This experience was beyond frustrating. The inefficiency, unnecessary delays, and lack of consideration for families made what should have been a smooth arrival incredibly stressful.

This is a slightly long review but I hope it helps others!Intro: I was pleasantly surprised staying at the Village! To preface, we use timeshares and choice hotels when we travel because we like to maximize credit card points. We have stayed at some dumpy places and fortunately, nothing at the Village is making us question coming back. In fact, we might bring our family with us next time.Booking and Suite: We booked a last-call room for a one bedroom suite. It was very spacious, with a full living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, Jacuzzi tub and a balcony to sit out on and soak in the Florida air.Amenities: Our suite included but was not limited to the following: 2 dishwasher detergent packs, 1 laundry detergent pack, multiple bars of soap, 2 small bottles of shampoo and conditioner, 1 small bottle of dishwashing soap, dish sponge, towels of all variety in the kitchen and bathroom, laundry basket, and cooking utensils, silverware. There was a pitcher in the fridge that we used to store coffee from what was left in the coffee pot. We used the cooking pans to make breakfast each morning (because amusement park food is expensive!). We ran the dishwasher twice with no issues. We used the Jacuzzi to soak each night after long days of walking. The bathroom was clean! It had everything we needed and more. We didn't rent a car but we did order groceries for delivery to stock the fridge.**We have stayed in places that give you nothing - no dish soap, no sponge etc** So having the Village provide these necessary items saved us a lot of money having to buy them upon arrival.Pools: CLEAN, towels stocked, light music playing, plentiful seating.Above and BEYOND customer service: One morning the fire alarm was chirping and we called the front desk at 5 am. Maintenance showed up in 20 minutes which is incredible service (I was expecting hours!!). This shows me that they have attentive staff and take care of problems quickly.Other guests: Everyone was respectful. We didn't hear loud yelling or running up and down the halls. There was a playground in-between our buildings and it was fine. I even had a nice conversation with a stranger as we were walking back from the main check in building to our building. Most people are friendly when they are in vacation mode.Thank you to all of the staff and shuttle drivers who take guests to their buildings. It was a wonderful stay!

This was the absolute worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in and we’ve traveled all over the world and the country. To start, the property is massive with something like 20 buildings- which means there’s so much potential here, but it’s clearly too big to be managed properly.Upon check in we were told we were in building 10 and provided with keys and paperwork showing the same. He head to building 10 (about a 5 minute drive from the front desk) and unload all our bags and the hot food we had just ordered- and head to the 5th floor, only to find our keys don’t work. We try for a while before finding housekeeping staff who radio to the front desk- and we’re told our room is not actually in building 10- but instead building 4.We have to go back to the car, load our bags and head to the front desk, wait on line, to be told they messed up and we are in building 4. And now our food is cold and we’re frustrated and exhausted after a long day of travel. We finally get into the room- and it’s so dated. But no big deal- until- the remote isn’t working. No batteries- we call down to the front desk, told it would be 5/10 minutes- but instead it took almost 2 hours- we were already asleep- they woke us up to give us the batteries. Now the bed- this is the best part. There was a huge stain. We were so disgusted and did not want to sleep on it but had no other choice.Honestly I would not recommend this to anyone. The absolute worst experience and the front desk was no help.

**Stayed at the Resort for Free with Timeshare Promotion**Room: Stayed three nights in an older junior one-bedroom unit (3408B) with a kitchenette, balcony, washer/dryer, and fridge with an ice maker. The other half of the suite was occupied by another family, despite assurances during the tour that this wouldn't happen. The master bedroom was so small it couldn't fit two side tables. The pull-out couch faced the balcony door, and bright lights on all night from the courtyard made it hard to sleep.Amenities: Pools and splash pads were great for the kids, and the playground was also a hit. The gym is a bare-minimum hotel gymCheck-in and Access: Check-in was simple. Entry to the room floors wasn’t possible from the stairs, which wasn’t well-marked. Parking was always available.Location: Only 15 minutes to Disney, which was fantastic!Overall, this stay didn't convince me that I want to own a timeshare, but was a great opportunity to bring my kids to Disney.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay here. From the moment I walked in to check in, I had nothing but issues. For some reason, they didn't have my reservation correct. They had me only staying 4 nights instead of 5 nights. I had to show proof of my reservation that I'd prepaid for, then had to wait over 30 mins for them to contact a manager that was no longer on site to correct the issue. Our unit was spacious but there were 2 huge dead cockroaches in the kitchen area that immediately turned me off. I wanted another unit but after having to wait for housekeeping to verify the issue, and being told it would take additional time to get a new unit, we decided to stay. They supposedly came by the next day to treat the room but we didn't witness this. The TV in the main room was rather small. Everything was dated looking and dark because there weren't enough lights. The master bdrm lights above the bed were faulty in my unit as you had to hold the switch a certain way to keep them lit. The elevators are somewhat slow and smelly. The pool bars closed at 5 and 6pm during my stay in August which was ridiculous. And their use of the paper wrist bands to show you're an actual guest at the resort were impractical. Especially if you plan on getting in the pool. Staff were friendly but didn't have answers about things.I chose to stay here because I stayed here a few times in the early 2000s and it was so lively and fun then. Apparently, back then, it was owned by Wyndham Timeshare but now Wyndham only owns 4 towers on the property. That explained why everything has gone downhill. Had I known that beforehand, I would've never booked hers. Things have greatly changed and I will never be back.

Awesome pools and hot tub. The best massage I've ever had in my life at the on site spa. Our room/suite was very nice and clean, slightly outdated but it was like having an apartment at hotel prices. The resort is very well decorated. I would definitely come back. You are also in a part of town where everything you could possibly need is within a 2 mile radius, very convenient.

The room was very clean, including the jacuzzi. The sheets were crispy clean. All the appliances worked perfectly, everything, nice and clean. The hallways and the actual premises, we're all kept up. Staff was very polite all around the premises. The pool area was very nice and clean as well. The water was a bit cold to get in. However,The fees at the food court are extremely high. We paid $37 dollars for a chicken sandwich and a steak sandwich. They charge an additional 11% for resort fee. They were very good portions, though, can't complain about that. We also had a couples massage. Again, a bit on the high end, because we're at the actual resort. For the prices, I think they could do a bit more. In comparison to other high end spas that we've been to. Other than that, the resort itself is all well WORTH IT. IT IS A SPACIOUS UNIT. I'VE actually stayed here twice a three bedroom villa, and the one bedroom sweet. Excellent as far as maintenance. They also have live entertainment in the evenings, which makes it nice. I highly recommend some music by the pool and some games or entertainment. We were there and the pool area was very quiet. No music no games. I believe for anyone that is going on vacation. These are the kind of things you look forward to if you wanna just stay in the resort and not go anywhere. Make it fun.

We had planned a Valentine's night getaway, expecting a quick and enjoyable one-night stay, but our experience was entirely the opposite. Upon entering our room, we were dismayed to find roaches crawling on the floor and in the kitchen sink, and the room had not been cleaned. I immediately contacted the front desk and informed them that our room was not acceptable due to the presence of roaches everywhere. The front desk explained that protocol required them to send housekeeping to verify the issue, expressing a lack of apology for the inconvenience and seeming to question my honesty about the bugs. However, when the nighttime housekeeper supervisor arrived, she was genuinely apologetic, acknowledged the problem, and promptly offered to relocate us and provide compensation for the distress caused. We were subsequently moved from building 18 to building 12, with my spouse transported by golf cart while I drove our car with our bags. Although the new room was free of roaches, the refrigerator had not been cleaned. Given the late hour, I requested a later checkout to allow us some rest before departing, and I offered to clean some areas myself due to our brief stay. The following morning, around 9 am, the housekeeper manager contacted me regarding the notes left by the supervisor, and I explained that we had been promised compensation. She advised me to contact the front desk, where I spoke with Guillermo Arroyo, the front desk manager on duty. He offered to refund the $17 resort fee and grant a late checkout as compensation, which he presented in a rude manner, stating that I needed to speak with housekeeping as it was not his team. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the treatment we received, and he hung up on me, calling security to have me removed from the room when I mentioned coming to the lobby to show pictures of the roaches. The head of security deemed me a threat due to my intention to post a review and inform other guests about my experience. I have yet to receive a follow-up call, refund, compensation, or return of my deposit, which was paid upon check-in. I strongly advise against staying at Star Island Room, as despite the room's amenities, including a jacuzzi at an affordable price, the presence of roaches and the subpar customer service make it an unacceptable choice

We had a wonderful stay at Star Island resort. My husband, my daughter and I had a King Deluxe suit. It came with all the items needed to cook a meal in the full kitchen. My daughter loved the jacuzzi tub in our room! We were very impressed with how friendly all of the staff were at each location of the resort. We also really loved the ladies spa with the indoor hot tub as it was extremely cold the first few days of our stay. The pools were very clean and well kept. We even enjoyed some arcade time. Our bed was comfortable and when we needed new bedding/extra blankets, it was delivered to our room within minutes. I enjoy how secure the campus is and how friendly the gate staff are. We spent 4 days at the Disney parks and thought the distance of travel was perfect, no more than 10-15 mins. There are tons of restaurants and shopping close to the resort which was also convenient. We will definitely be staying at Star Island Resort every time we do a Disney trip.
