We had issues with the lights as soon as we came in had to call maintenance. The room was so hot and I kept adjusting the thermostat and it would keep readjusting to a much warmer temperature. The bathroom smelled like sewage. It felt like there was no circulation in the room. Paid a lot to stay there and couldn't get a late checkout. I've had better experiences at holiday inns.

Home for the holidays and this is always a niche experiential hotel to stay in downtown Cincinnati. Easy to get to all of the new bars, restaurants, my favorite luxury lighting/furniture store ‘SWITCH Lighting & Design’, & lots of metered parking + garages. The cutting edge, fresh, exciting, optimistic, informative + creative vibe that this hotel once had feels like it’s slowly tapering away. With a few updates like ground level window treatments, new vibrant artwork, fresh coat of paint on the walls in the hallway to reduce signs of wear (fine details) to elevate the experience would be great. The room was quiet + peaceful. The front desk was very accommodating with my needs. My mattress + pillows were fantastic. I would appreciate a bit more of a modern aesthetic to a museum hotel room. I hope that this place stands the test of time, Cincinnati needs this place - I love my hometown 🫂

The 21c Museum Hotel in Cincinnati offers a unique and enjoyable stay. The rooms are clean, and the location is convenient for exploring the city. However, the price is on the higher side, especially with the $40 valet parking fee.One standout feature is the 24/7 museum on the first and second floors, showcasing diverse and intriguing artwork from around the world. It adds a cultural and artistic touch to the hotel experience, making it more than just a place to stay.Overall, it’s a great option for those looking for a blend of comfort and creativity, though be prepared for premium pricing.Con, parking.

My husband and I are from Cincinnati and were visiting back home this weekend. The hotel is in a great location, easily walkable to both stadiums, the river/banks area, and many restaurants nearby. The Connector streetcar also stops just one block away, which makes exploring the city really easy and convenient. The reception is very friendly and accommodating. My luggage cracked on the way to Cincinnati and they graciously accepted an overnight delivery for a new suitcase on my behalf, even delivered it to the room.My husband loved the complementary bourbon drink tickets to use each evening at the bar. The bartenders downstairs also make an amazing espresso martini. The beds were extremely comfortable, the towels & robes were fluffy, there is great lighting in the bathroom, and the water pressure in the shower is amazing. The room is on the smaller side, but the bathroom is spacious. We also enjoyed walking through the museum and seeing all of the art available for free.We will absolutely recommend this hotel to any clients or friends visiting Cincinnati and will consider it again for our next trip home.

The hotel was cool! Great spot and a good room with a comfortable bed. The hotel restaurant bartender, Alex, made the stay worthwhile. She was awesome! The hotel service, however, was like playing roulette. You did not know if you would get a good service person working the desk or a bad service person working each day. We asked to have our sheets changed twice in one day and we were given a half complete set of sheets placed on the table in our room. We had to make the bed ourselves and our dirty sheets were still left on the bed.

We live in downtown Cincinnati. The Palm Court is our very favorite place. The management and service in the bar has gone downhill recently. We were there for happy hour today (Tuesday). We were there last Thursday with the same problem. One not great bartender and one server for about 40 people. It could be the best place in town! We have been there with great bartenders and servers. Hope they are there on weekends! 🥲🌇🍸🍷

Beautiful art deco hotel with Palm Court dining room and bar. Nice selection of sandwiches, soup, salads and entrees. Room was very clean and had a lovely view of downtown and the river. Breakfast was included with 11am check out. For a week day not very busy. Arcade businesses were either permanently closed or empty. As I left mid afternoon, only the security guard for access to the tower was present.

Rooms are extremely outdated and falling apart. Highly disappointed. This is the worst Hilton hotel I've ever stayed at. There's a huge gap between the bottom of the door to the ground. I had to wedge a chair against the door to feel safer. The bathroom towel hook or something was broken off so just a metal piece sticking out. AC unit was not fully connected to the wall. There were stains in the carpet. Paint throughout the room and tiles in the bathroom were all chipped/coming off.Service upon check-in was fine and valet was very nice. Next day however was completely different. Checkout is at 11am and at 10:48 I had a loud knock at my door while I was waiting for valet to answer the phone. Was met with a housekeeper who looked annoyed that I was here and she starts speaking to me in another language. I told her I didn't understand and then she looked mad that I didn't understand her and that she didn't understand me. I'm usually very understanding of others who don't have English as their first language or if their English is limited, but her attitude the entire time was very unprofessional. She took out her phone and translated what she was saying which was when I was going to leave. I told her checkout is at 11 so that's when I'm leaving. Her translator didn't work translating it back to her so she got mad again and just stared at me. I repeated with just 11 and she mumbled something and looked around the rest of the floor then walked away. I left the door open while I went back to the phone which I'd been ringing for valet since before 10:45 to retrieve my car. It was still ringing and someone finally answered by past 10:50.I thought being downtown would be good so I can have easy access to anything I might need during my trip, but I wish I had stayed outside of downtown. There were parts of the road blocked off all around.

The building itself and all of the original details are very neat to look at however I don’t think I would stay here again, particularly for the price I paid. The elevators were experiencing problems when we arrived - one was shut down completely, one the screen was stuck on floor 16, and another was super shaky. Then morning of checkout (today) not a single elevator was working and no one was informed. Everyone had to find the hidden staircase and walk down or up. Thankfully we were only on floor 6 but it was a lot of stairs still.During the middle of the night (like 2:20 am) while someone else was showering or taking a bath, the pipes made an incredibly loud pitched whistling tea kettle noise and this went on for about an hour. Just when we thought it was over it would begin again. I know it’s an old building but that was rather unpleasant.Overall the room was basic/nothing special. Front desk lady was nice. The restaurant was okay - limited menu and really more of a bar with a restaurant. Server at the restaurant was okay. Location was pretty good - without walking distance of what we were there for.

We stayed at this Hotel for a week with my family, and I must say it was THE WORST hotel experiences we've ever had.First and foremost, We had to switch rooms the very next morning because there was construction work happening right outside our window. The noise was unbearable and completely ruined our family trip. We expected a relaxing getaway, but instead, we were met with chaos and discomfort. The cleanliness was absolutely unacceptable. Our new room was not properly cleaned with smell of mold, and to make matters worse, the sink was clogged. We reported the issue to maintenance, but they took their sweet time to respond, and when they finally did, they left all the trash behind with a still clogged drain. It was incredibly frustrating but my wife didn’t want to switch the room AGAIN so we had to wash hands in bath tub for the rest of the trip!!Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant stay. Save your money and find a place that values cleanliness and guest comfort. This hotel clearly does not!
