So they sent us an email saying save 30% during this non peak month, January 2025. Like times before I booked a room thru this email and never recieved a confirmation. On our way down, I called the reservation desk to ensure our reservation and the agent I spoke to said there were no reservation and politely helped me book my stay. Upon arriving at the hotel the check in agent said that we had two rooms booked and that we needed to go on priceline to cancel one of the bookings. I cant cancel bc i have no information. I booked it thru their email! We tried to ask more questions but we were more just overlooked versus a resolution. When I got to our room I called the reservation desk spoke to a customer service representative that I couldn't understand and assured me he would help as much as possible. The next morning I recieved an email stating there was nothing that could be done. I later emailed the reservation desk in hopes to have answers but no response and it's been a few days. This was a job related trip for my husband and we love the golden nugget because it's convenient and clean. My thing is if you mess up, don't pass the buck and let a dedicated customer become unnoticed and thrown to the side. It can cause that customer to never do business with you again. I'm not a wealthy person. We thought we were getting a good deal and staying where we like to stay. Instead for one night, we ended up paying what we would one peak night on the weekend instead of a Wednesday night in January. We feel totally disappointed and taken advantage of.....

Place was clean and affordable. A server quit while we were awaiting a table at the sports bar so it put back our meal time but the staff did more than make up for it. Great place.

From what I experienced here, the customer service is on point. Extremely friendly staff at check-in who welcomed me for a first time visitor and explained where everything was. The cage staff was also extremely friendly, that could be because I was in the elite line, however my experience was top-notch to say the least. The rooms are nice, you can tell the hotel's been here for a little while however the balcony has chairs compared to some of the other Golden Nugget experiences that are absent that amenity. The machines here are above average in my opinion in regards to RTP however they are tight just not as tight as Vegas. One of the biggest pros to any Golden Nugget experience is going to be your comp dollar conversion and slot dollars, just in a few hours I earned over a hundred in comp balance which more than paid for dinner so no one can really complain about that. I was even fortunate enough to have a host introduce themselves while playing and being an elite member with my home casino in a different state and having never met my host a single time this to me spoke volumes to the level of customer service at this hotel. This is probably the third time I played here and for a host to go out of their way to introduce themselves and offer a card with their information is shocking. The only downsides to this casino are going to be that it is rather small so getting on a machine can be difficult if you come later in the night so please keep that in mind if you're coming here. For the elite card holders you will find the facility has an elite parking section however as I was informed, it is not for all elite card members, it is something that has to be approved by the director of this facility and therefore you will probably not be able to use it. Out of five stars I would give this place a solid 4.5, let's face it no place is perfect however the staff here have really impressed me and that should be applauded as most of my reviews have rarely used that term when writing them. If the GM of this facility reads this, keep up the good work.

Older casino, but well maintained and kept up-to-date. For a casino that allows smoking indoors it didn’t reek of cigarettes. Five dollars in free slot pay for new rewards members if you sign up with an email. They also serve free alcohol while you’re gambling, which is a huge plus for me. It’s hard to find that outside of Vegas. Pretty wide variety of slot and table games.

Amazing View of the Gulf, Clean Rooms, peaceful and Quiet. I slept my first day here. I also had the Junior suite which included hot tub in bedroom. I had brought my own drinks, but once I got in the hot tub and let those jets go let’s just say my sore muscles felt great by the time I got out. I would recommend this Hotel stay to anyone looking for a getaway.

What a fantastic hotel. We stayed here because of the price. Other hotels in the area were over $700 on a Friday night and this was much less so I was concerned. Our room has an exceptional view. There was so many food choices. The casino is spacious and well laid out. Blackjack tables have reasonable buy ins . The whole thing is just outstanding

They have the machines fixed or something. Because I sat and waited on my machine for over 30 minutes to finish 540 free games on the (gold rhinos on the wonder 4 machine)just for it to only give me $100.00 Which is pathetic, and I was betting 80 cents which was double. This machine kept going to the free games but I never got pass my $100 which is what I started with. I had a total of 700+ free games so I know that's ridiculous.

This place is excellent. The rooms are great. The staff is very helpful, and you are walking distance from casino games. I stayed here and saw Jerry Lee Lewis play at the casino one time and I had a blast.

Rooms are ok, basic. The smell in certain parts of the Casino is overwhelming, major cleaning agent over urine, I don't know can't figure it out. Not many restaurants to choose from. Pool was closed. Came for a conference not gambling so maybe expected more options. Service has been hospitable. Get a rental so you can eat at some good places in town and go to the beach.

I encountered several issues during my stay, which unfortunately made the experience disappointing.First, the TV in the room didn’t work upon arrival. I discovered it wasn’t even plugged in, which required me to awkwardly reach behind the dresser to connect it. Once I turned it on, every channel had a blue tint. I called for assistance, and while someone came to check, I was informed the issue couldn’t be resolved immediately. I was offered the option to either move rooms or wait for a replacement TV the next day. Since I had already unpacked and settled in, I chose to wait. The following morning, someone arrived with a new TV, and while they eventually got it set up, it took a considerable amount of time.Additionally, the outlet on the nightstand lamp (next to the bed on the right) didn’t work, and the clock in the room was off by 30 minutes. The toilet required multiple flushes to work properly, and the first day, the shower water wouldn’t get hot. There were also keycard issues. On the first night, my friend picked up his room key, and later that evening, my key stopped working. Since his keys were locked in the room, I had to go to the front desk to resolve the issue and get new keys.Lastly, I was frustrated by a lack of transparency regarding the resort fee. Nowhere during the booking process or in my confirmation was it mentioned. When I checked in, I noticed an additional charge of over $100, which the front desk agent explained was an authorization that would be refunded after checkout. However, they didn’t clarify the resort fee itself. I assume this fee included the two daily bottles of water listed in the room, but I didn’t receive them as promised. This trip was meant to be a celebration of an anniversary, and I had looked forward to staying here. Unfortunately, these issues made for a disappointing experience.1/25/25 Update: I received a response from the hotel. The person I spoke with was very kind and apologized for the issues I experienced and offered a solution that I was satisfied with. Thank you!
