I encountered several issues during my stay, which unfortunately made the experience disappointing.First, the TV in the room didn’t work upon arrival. I discovered it wasn’t even plugged in, which required me to awkwardly reach behind the dresser to connect it. Once I turned it on, every channel had a blue tint. I called for assistance, and while someone came to check, I was informed the issue couldn’t be resolved immediately. I was offered the option to either move rooms or wait for a replacement TV the next day. Since I had already unpacked and settled in, I chose to wait. The following morning, someone arrived with a new TV, and while they eventually got it set up, it took a considerable amount of time.Additionally, the outlet on the nightstand lamp (next to the bed on the right) didn’t work, and the clock in the room was off by 30 minutes. The toilet required multiple flushes to work properly, and the first day, the shower water wouldn’t get hot. There were also keycard issues. On the first night, my friend picked up his room key, and later that evening, my key stopped working. Since his keys were locked in the room, I had to go to the front desk to resolve the issue and get new keys.Lastly, I was frustrated by a lack of transparency regarding the resort fee. Nowhere during the booking process or in my confirmation was it mentioned. When I checked in, I noticed an additional charge of over $100, which the front desk agent explained was an authorization that would be refunded after checkout. However, they didn’t clarify the resort fee itself. I assume this fee included the two daily bottles of water listed in the room, but I didn’t receive them as promised. This trip was meant to be a celebration of an anniversary, and I had looked forward to staying here. Unfortunately, these issues made for a disappointing experience.1/25/25 Update: I received a response from the hotel. The person I spoke with was very kind and apologized for the issues I experienced and offered a solution that I was satisfied with. Thank you!
