Always a great hotel, comfy beds, decent breakfast, and great location. Was told they don't do wakeup calls anymore so that was a bummer but still a great stay.

First of all, the staff here was very friendly so I’ll give them that. However, this hotel is right next to the emergency room in sort of a rough part of town. When you walk in, there’s a warning at the desk about car break ins & theft which tells me that’s something that happens often there. When we checked out the next morning, a woman was yelling and raging about something outside & eventually the police showed up. I thought I heard someone say that a physical fight broke out between her and another guest, but I didn’t see it so I’m not sure. The room was large and they’re dog friendly which is great. The complimentary breakfast was also delicious. Unfortunately our room seemed a bit yucky. Our towels had strange brown stains on them, the curtains were stained & the hair dryer was greasy when I picked it up to use it. For the price, I don’t think it was worth it & wouldn’t stay here again

Had a family emergency that put me in Billings because my father needed surgery. They worked with me to have a place to stay for me and my dog. The staff was awesome, the rooms were older but pretty great and the bed was very comfortable. The benefit for this hotel trying to go to the hospital is using the sky bridge that is right next to it gets you in inside easy.

This is an older hotel, the rooms have refrigerators but no microwaves. The staff is friendly and helpful. There's a good coffee shop downstairs.

I always love this Doubletree. Great customer service, and the rooms are always clean when I stay here. It is close to a lot of local restaurants on Montana Ave and by the sky point which is just a block or two over.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the DoubleTree hotel while visiting Billings. I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel, as well as its cleanliness. The staff I encountered were also very pleasant and provided excellent service. In particular, I was pleased with how quickly and efficiently the staff accommodated my last-minute booking request. Their professionalism and courtesy made a significant difference to my overall experience. The hotel also has a coffee shop on site, which I did have a chance to visit and found to be convenient and pleasant. Although I did not have the opportunity to explore the other facilities available within the hotel, I would definitely recommend the DoubleTree to others based on my stay.

Perfect place to stay in Billings. The historic building has been beautifully restored while retaining a lot of character. There was a hiccup with my room and the staff went out of their way to make me feel taken care of. The three restaurants on sight and coffee shop are good and convenient. Excellent overall facilities.

My husband and I recently chose to stay at this hotel for four nights due to its close proximity to where we were working. When we checked in, I read that our room would be cleaned daily. However, late on the second day when we arrived at the hotel from working, our room had not been cleaned. No big deal-but we were out of towels and washcloths. (This particular room only had two bath towels, two hand towels and two washcloths. Not sufficient for two days of two people showering. Most women I know use two bath towels for themselves-one for their body and one for their head) I called the front desk that night and asked for a couple more towels and washcloths. I was told that housekeeping would bring some right up to us. Unfortunately, that didn't happen and I was stuck drying off with a hand towel from my shower. The next morning (day three) my husband visited with the front desk manager about our experience. The manager handed my husband a stack of towels and told him that he would ensure our room would be cleaned that day. We left for work and when we arrived in our room that night, it was evident that housekeeping did not visit our room. My husband made a second visit to the manager at the front desk. Again, repeat. Housekeeping promised. Housekeeping failed. The next manager offered (and my husband accepted) a discount for the complete lack of housekeeping, which was a nice gesture. However, I have never stayed at a hotel that doesn't offer housekeeping at least every other day or by request. This hotel shouldn't advertise daily housekeeping. In addition, if you're going to require your guests stay four nights without any housekeeping, perhaps provide more than two towels? Maybe even a garbage bag so we can haul out our trash?

Booked the bridal suite about two months in advance of our stay. We asked to check in a little early at 2:30. Front desk told us housekeeping was cleaning the room and it would be ready at 3:00 at the latest. We went back up at 3:00, and were told that housekeeping forgot about it and it would be another 30 minute wait. Check-in is at 3! This room was booked well in advance, there should have been zero reason that we couldn't get in on time. My wife needed to be in the room to get ready for a formal event we had at 5:00 pm, so they "upgraded" us to the presidential suite. We got to the room to find it was ill-prepared for guests to be in there that night. Plus, there isn't an upgrade from the bridal suite. That's the room I wanted for my wife and I that night. I also received no recognition as a Diamond member. This hotel doesn't care about Hilton members, and robbed my wife and I of our experience we were very much looking forward to. It didn't matter ifI was a Diamond member or just someone off the street. It's an event like this that makes me question loyalty to Hilton, and wonder if I should go with better hotel brands in the future, because this was unacceptable business practice.

Hotel was pretty nice. Room was clean and comfortable. AC was a little loud but not worse than many other hotels so I give it a pass. Bathroom is small, but the rest of the room was spacious. Nice views on higher floors. The reason I'm docking 2 stars is because I was told that they don't honor the Hilton Gold Food and Beverage credit on award (points) stays. That is not consistent with what the Hilton Honors program promises, and is bordering on false advertising, as the app showed me I would get the credit. As such, I didn't try any of the food options at the property. It is in walking distance of many downtown restaurants which is nice.
