I'm gold with IHG and typical stay at this hotel everytime I'm in Atlanta for work which is every other week. Today when I checked in, there was no valet at the station and I had to wait for them to come meet me in the lobby to give me a ticket to park my vehicle. I had to ask to move rooms (the corner rooms at this hotel have a strange layout) then once I got into my new room the water in the whole building wasn't working so I had to stay up past midnight to able to take a shower and wash my face.. for the price you pay would just expect the staff to be more on top of it. Usually don't have this experience here.UPDATE: the water began to run black - 15 min later it began working normally again. some of the lamps in the room do not work though.. just overall they are not paying attention here

My stay at Intercontinental Buckhead Atlanta was incredible! I owe a HUGE thanks to Kevan at the front desk because he helped me through a nightmare of a situation and kept his cool even when I didn't!Also a big thanks to Calvin from in-room dining for being so hospitable and kind over the phone!

Ordered breakfast in room dining and never arrive after 1.5 hours. The cafe in the lobby takes over 30 minutes to order coffee or a piece of bread since breakfast never arrived. Room and hotel is nice but terrible and amateur service.

Completely with the property and more importantly the staff on site.Upon check in, the desk agent was extremely rude and unprofessional to greet guests. It was evident she did not want to be there nor be of help. Upon room arrival, I had filled the tub and attempted to get in, come to find out our room does not have any warm water, in shower or in bath tub (11pm issue). Following day, made house keeping and front desk aware, went to breakfast (another epic fail, sent back food due to incorrect items and sodium levels). Went back to room to find out hot water issue still not resolved. We were late for all of our appointments, and had to switch rooms finally as we did not have another choice. Lastly, I made a desk agent aware of what was going on- and his remedy was to offer me "20,000 IHG points", I responded with, I am not sure what that means, nor is it relevant to me. In conclusion, I would not stay there- the hotel was not accommodating, nor did it feel like a five-star property. The best part of the hotel was the art work in and around the property.

I had such a great stay! Staff is awesome! Andre in the concierge lounge is a true delight. Always welcoming, friendly, professional, and remembers names. Such a pleasure! The hotel rooms are spacious and have all the accommodations you need. The only thing that was a little weird - they have a magnifying make up mirror built into the bathroom mirror, which is neat! However it's a bit low. If there was a chair in the restroom, it would work well. The meeting rooms were well kept, the food was great. The food at the restaurant, Americano was fantastic, and the wait staff there all friendly and everyone would check on you, if they were your waiter or not. Truly an outstanding stay!

I will preface this review by commending the staff at reception and valet, as they were all great, location is superb and the room was lovely- however, my parents had just landed from the UK to stay in the hotel and there was no hot water for their entire stay, even though they had informed the hotel on various occasions. They were just told it was ‘noted’, but it wasn’t fixed. I was merely refunded the $40 amenities fee, which is far from ideal or fair.

The hotel manager Josh is exceptional. He is extremely responsive ans true to his word. He did everything within his power to make sure all of my issues were resolved. I greatly appreciate him taking the time out to hear my story and show compassion and understanding. unfortunately this time I was mir able to say at the hotel however I think i may make them my number one hotel to stay at just because or how well the service that was provided was. I definitely recommend staying that this hotel and Joshua thank you once again !!

The place is horrible for a 5 star hotel. The room could have been better. The furniture is old. The lobby furniture is dirty could have been better. As for my service it was horrible. Felt like I was lied about all the charges because I didn’t see anything on the website that I was going to be charged for this and that. I got $35 charge on top of my room total about. Parking $45 that I didn’t know about when I book the room. $100 hold if we use anything. It was just charges after charges. Even if you don’t use anything in the room you automatically get charge for no reason even if they say you will get it back on the refund. Which I haven’t got any refund. Food was horrible and over price. I don’t have a problem with paying for food with the price but at least make it worth the price. It came out cold. It have no taste. It was just horrible is better off to just go get something cheaper and fast food. The only thing I enjoy was probably the pool. If they clean the pool it would have been better. There was bugs and stuff around the pool and the ball was very dirty inside the pool. For 5 star hotel I say is not worth it here. I will not come back to stay here.

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Rooms are not ~impressive~ but they’re clean, beds are comfy, great place to rest and recharge. Location is outstanding—so many options within walking distance and only around a 30 minute drive to the aquarium and that area. Parking is a little crazy, but Edy and his staff made sure that it was easy for us. Thank you, Edy! My only real complaint is the lack of carts available for guests upon checking in and out. It was a bit difficult for two to carry everything we brought with us in and out of the hotel. Otherwise, very enjoyable!!

I recently stayed at the Starling Atlanta as a Hilton Honors member, and I must say, the experience was quite disappointing. The hotel looks absolutely stunning from the outside, boasting a beautiful facade that sets high expectations. Unfortunately, the interior, particularly the rooms, did not match that initial impression.Upon check-in, I inquired about an upgrade and was placed on the 10th floor, right by the elevator. While convenient, it quickly became apparent that my room was far from acceptable. The door did not shut properly. To make matters worse, I found rust and mold present in the room, which is simply unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. As if this weren't bad enough, the following day the lobby flooded, adding to the chaos and disappointment of my stay. It's surprising that Hilton considers this hotel part of their Curio Collection, as it does not live up to the high standards one would expect. In summary, while the hotel may be visually appealing, the state of the rooms leaves much to be desired. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.

The hotel is beautiful. The lounge and bar staff were amazing. The staff overall were helpful and friendly. Right outside of the hotel is Colony Square with a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. I would have given the service a 5, except there was a situation that got escalated to the food director. He called me back and did not handle it well. I felt like he was being defensive and made me feel like my concern was not being taken seriously. Also it would be amazing if there were microwaves in the rooms.

Very nice hotel on a great location on walking distance to Piedmont park. The hotel has a nice artistic touch on the inside and the staff is very friendly and service minded. We arrived around noon and we were allowed inside the room immediately. On checkout day we were allowed to store our luggage, always a good service. Furthermore it has a nice bar and an outside pool. On the second floor the hotel has a direct connection to a food court, very convenient. Would stay here again.

I think occasionally this is in a great place. The parking was kinda crazy as it was half the price of the room. Our room service didn't get done till 4 pm which was inconvenient. The pool was very cold as well and had a ton of bugs in it. The bed was comfortable. We liked that it was in walking distance. The downstairs is a party place at night. If you are into that, more power to you but it's not my jam. I think overall it was okay but I'd probably stay somewhere else next time.

I have been a loyal customer and a Gold member with Hilton honors. for several years, but my recent stay was an utter disappointment. Despite my loyalty, I was treated no differently than a first-time guest. I was expecting a smooth check-in process, but instead, I encountered rude and unhelpful staff who seemed indifferent to my status. The benefits that come with being a Gold member, like room upgrades and early check-in, were not offered. I had to remind the front desk about my membership level, and even then, they acted like they were doing me a favor by simply acknowledging it. To make matters worse, my requests for simple things like extra towels or a late check-out were either ignored or met with attitude. On top of the poor service, the parking situation is ridiculous. The hotel charges $70 per day for parking, which is outrageous considering there is a parking facility literally 10 steps away that charges only $30 per day. To add insult to injury, I was charged for two days of valet service when I only used it once.As if all this wasn’t bad enough, I encountered a serious hygiene issue. When I ordered drinks in the lobby, I found small roaches in the cups. This is absolutely unacceptable and a clear indication of poor maintenance and cleanliness.Given these experiences, I strongly advise against staying at this hotel, especially if you value good customer service, fair pricing, and basic cleanliness. There are plenty of other hotels where your loyalty is appreciated, the service is top-notch, and you won’t have to worry about being overcharged or encountering unsanitary conditions. I recommend choosing the W hotel, where the staff is friendly, the service is excellent, and the environment is clean and welcoming.
