We were blown away by our experience staying at Kiepersol B&B! As lovers of Texas wine, Kiepersol had been on our radar for some time, and we finally made the trip. The fact that it’s one of two estate wineries in the entire state was enough to intrigue us. The service was outstanding from the moment we checked in, and all of the employees genuinely seemed proud to work there. A special shout out to Nikki, Jenna, Perri, Kevin, and Marnelle who contributed to our great experience at the restaurant, bar, and tasting room. I would also recommend Pierre’s crostinis at the bar - life-changing. We already can’t wait for a trip back to Kiepersol.

Great stay! We went with another couple and stayed at the 2 bedroom cottage. It was very clean and nicely furnished. The wine tasting was so interesting, what a great family history. It’s truly amazing the wine is all made with the grapes on site. We’re not fans of sweet wine but the cab blends were very good and the Tawny Port was amazing. And the tenderloin steaks….perfection. My only criticism is the crab cakes, skip them. Everything else was fantastic!! We’ll be back for sure!

We are enjoying Tyler, Texas, to the fullest. We had found our second home in Tyler, Texas. Kiepersol B&B, It’s beautiful and clean, in a great neighborhood, surrounded by vineyards. The owner always makes us feel welcome without being stuffy, only around when we need them. We had so much fun and really look forward to visiting Tyler, staying at Kiepersol B&B again, eat and tasting wine here for a little longer.

This place is very fancy and nice. It's one of the best places we've ever stayed. Beautiful rooms, beautiful views, and great breakfast. Great for a romantic weekend and anniversary trip. Tyler is very close, and the wine tasting room is on the same property.

We were in town for the Rose Festival and came in on Thursday to could experience Kiepersol beyond just a wine tasting. We did the wine tour + tasting upon arrival around lunch time, enjoyed dinner at the restaurant and had a nice overnight stay in the Paarl Room at the main B&B. This room is on the corner overlooking mother nature and has a well appointed + large screened in outdoor patio with plenty of seating and a fan. Upon request, we were also shown the Cottage and Stable House because this was a girls weekend and we want to bring the guys back. The B&B is great for a girls weekend or a couples get away!

B&B review:
My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the Champagne room, it was cozy, clean, and staff were kind and anticipatory of our needs.
My one suggestion would be that they add a love seat or more cozy seating section to the room so that there is a nice place to read and chat other than the bed.

We really liked the fact that if you were a B&B guest you had reserved parking right near the front of the building; so even when the restaurant was busy, we didn’t have to look for parking!

Breakfast: Best coffee I’ve ever had brewed at a B&B- I like my coffee strong and theirs had a robust flavor unlike most others which taste more like tea than coffee... Breakfast was fantastic, I would 10/10 recommend the eggs Benedict- words cant describe the magical blend of flavors and textures they have perfected!

Restaurant review:

We started with the duck cigars and it set the bar high for the rest of the meal. My husband loved the sea bass and said it was the best fish he has had in years. I enjoyed the filet minion with lyonnaise potatoes.
It says a lot about the quality of food and it’s preparation when it comes to you seasoned to perfection and needs no added salt, pepper, or steak sauce.
I’ve seen several reviews mention as a critique that you can only get Kiepersol liquor and wine and no other label. However, as a customer it didn’t bother me because part of the fun of trying different wineries, distillery’s, and breweries is that you get to try THEIR product. Anyway, their dark rum is delicious and made for a fabulous mojito!

This motel 6 is the nastiest I've ever been to. It has so much potential to be terrific but it's just downright dirty. Doors look like they've never been wiped, floors are filthy, bathrooms are dirty, grease, blood and dirt on the walls. Roaches at night. Stay some place else.

Paid an overpriced rate. Took a $50.00 deposit, to which was never returned. The bedspreads has cigarette holes, the door lock was broken, and the back of the remote wasn't there. Called management but nothing was done.

The place was okay.

Rooms were super clean and fresh which was so nice.

The heater in the room was broken though so it was freezing the whole night.

The location was good! In a cute town and very close to many food places.

Room was clean both days, no issues with cleanliness. Everything worked as it should. Bedding was fresh and clean. Staff was friendly and responsive. Peter went out of his way to make sure my requests were addressed. One chair was worn on the arm pretty bad but clean and workable.
I read some of the other 1 stars, my experience was completely opposite. I've stayed a total of 4 days and my daughter stayed 3 days and had the same experience. Our stays were related to family in hospitals in Tyler. The hotel was perfect for us, and we'll be back until something changes for the worst.

Horrible!! Peter had the audacity to tell my 64 year old mother to leave the establishment after making a reservation for 2 nights specifically asked if the pool was open.. So she booked the rooms arrived and was ready to go swimming. To find the pool locked... So she asked them and he tells her she can only swim for 1 hour! She explained that the reason she even got a room there was for her and her husband to swim and relax for his birthday. Just the two of them.. So he unlocked the door and she went swimming. Within 45 minutes he ( Peter) comes out and says she needed to get out of the pool and needed to leave, I give full refund, you have 20 min..! Mind you she's there by herself and is told this.. unbelievable She had reservations across the way at Texas De Brazil. This just broke her heart. And I want people to know what to expect here.

We made reservations in advance. Our room was comfortable and we slept well. The hot water went on forever, so my shower did, too! The water wasn't too soft or too hard, so the shampoo washed out of my hair nicely. We felt rested and refreshed in the morning and plan to return to this motel in the future.
