Overall, I was happy with the experience in your charming and historically beautiful bed and breakfast. The service was excellent by the very friendly staff. The location was perfect since I was attending a conference just one mile away. I only wish that I could have had a meal at your restaurant. The menu looked wonderful and the dining room was elegant. I did have a few concerns though. First, when I booked my room I did not realize that it was for a sister location and I did not have the time when I was checking in to change locations prior to my conference starting. This resulted in my getting a much smaller room then what I booked and paid for. Second, one of the reason that I booked with you was that you had two hot tubs and I knew that I had a long drive and I looked forward to trying one out. But the temperature was just warm not hot. And third, the shower was very confusing on how to operate and I wish that there were some printed instructions.

Stopped here just to see something different. We did the self guided tour of the building, very informative and interesting. Did not get to go on the roof as someone was enjoying a massage. Also did the wine flight which included a small charcuterie offering. The wines were all very good. We exchanged ghost stories with the bartender who was very friendly. I would like to come back and stay overnight and experience the dinner.

Couples massage provided was exceptional, only suggestion would be to play more relaxing music during massage. Following the massage we stayed and had dinner…disappointed! Both our steaks we had were not cooked to our requested liking. I added on an upgrade to my steak the crab legs for $19.99, when my meal arrived I had 1 snow crab legs on the plate, and to top it off it was cold. The waitress serving up provided exceptional service, and took the crab leg back and off our bill. The overall atmosphere is amazing, I was just expecting to be wowed with the meal as it sounded amazing on the menu.

Food and dinner service was excellent. Johnny was excellent. We would have appreciated some protein with our continental breakfast, and more food. The Dutch Room bed was so soft that we would sink in about 8 inches into the bed and slide to the middle, and the bedroom got very hot at night with the thermostat set to 66 (it got up to about 75). The bathroom tub does not drain well, and would fill with water during a shower. We enjoyed the castle tour and though the rooms were creatively decorated and the decor added to the experience. We would come back for the dinner meal, but are not sure we would choose to spend the night again.

I loved every minute of my stay. My Daughter gifted me an overnight stay for Christmas a couple years back. To stay overnight in the castle was on my bucket list. It did not disappoint. We did not eat there, but had done an afternoon of wine tasting the year before. If you're looking for an adventure that will take you back in time, this is it.

Nice enough. Bed was pretty worn out. Room is tiny tiny, like easier to use the bathroom with the door open small. Literally had to leave the shower running almost 5 min to get barely warm water, then about 15 min in it finally gets simi hot. Wifi is spotty. I was here for a week they only came in to clean once. Not suggested for more then a night, maybe 2.

Basic enough. Terrible breakfast options. the nice sports bar is currently under renovations so is temporarily located in a non atmospheric spot. The showers are very poorly designed and do not provide enough flow. Not many options in Kalamazoo downtown for hotels so this is probably one of the better ones but many areas could do with improvement. Staff are nice however, especially the valet team who are super friendly.

By far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. You spent around $300 for a basic room and are expecting a nice, classy, clean experience. Upon arrival it looks gorgeous… until you walk into your shoe box sized room. Then you notice stained floors, a bed that has spring indents in it from being so worn out, a thin blanket with stains on it. Me and my husband tried making the best out of it and decided let’s order room service, it’s valentine’s day without the kids, let’s enjoy right? Wrong. The room service decided to close early. Okay, brush it off. Let’s go to the pool! I mean we spent $100 on some new bathing suits so why not put them to use before our vacation in Florida! Immediately upon arriving at the pool you see the kind of pool you would see at the YMCA. We of course didn’t make a big fuss, just had fun and went to the room. When making the reservation we were told that there was a FREE breakfast buffet so we said “$300, the FREE breakfast buffet will be worth it.” Wrong again! They lied to me! It would’ve been $50 MORE for a hospital breakfast. At this point I was seeing red. $300 when I could have spent $89 for their Country Inn & Suites and had an awesome bed, free breakfast, and better service. I then asked management if they could refund a portion of the money I paid since the hotel is HORRIBLE. They said take it up with Hotels.com so I called. Then upon talking to them they lied to Hotels and said “She made no complaints.” So then I called the Radisson DIRECTLY after they asked hotels to offer me TWELVE DOLLARS for my inconvenience. Upon speaking to them they found out I did in fact call and was lied to. They told me I would have an email by Monday. It is now Wednesday. They scam you by making you think it’s a nice hotel like the Ritz or the Hilton, but this is the grossest and grungiest place I have ever stayed. Never again. I will be calling every single day until there is a refund issued. STAY AWAY!!! 0/5!!!

We used to stay here for a special treat - it was always so nice and clean. The pool and hot tub were disgusting. Trash in the pool and surrounding areas. Unknown substances floating in the pool. Hallways were full of beer cans and trash. Room service closed and 10pm on a Saturday night. Main bar and store under renovations. Will never stay here again

So, I had to share this because although it was little things to me, it's been one of the best experiences I have had at a hotel. When I checked in, they had just had a system change, and my reservation was not showing correctly. Another lady came over to help the gentleman who was checking me in. They were both so patient and just worked things out. Then I noticed the young man who was assisting me was in training. I get it, that I was waiting for them to fix the issue, but their demeanor made the wait very pleasant that it did not feel like a wait at all. I wish I had his name, because job well done on your new employee! To top it off, I was in a room that was adjoining, and it didn't have the strip at the bottom of our doors, that I could even see there light on at the bottom. So, I could literally hear everything in the next room. It's not that they were even overly loud, I could just hear whole conversations, coughing, burping and everything. I'm normally not a complainer, so I was just gonna deal with it. I even tried putting a towel at the bottom of the door.Unfortunately, I couldn't do it. I was dreading calling the front desk because I felt it would be a hassle, but I am going to be here for two nights and I was not sure when the people in the other room were leaving.I called the front desk, explained the situation, and told her it's not that they are rudely loud, it's just the adjoining door is not working for me. I asked her if she happened to have another room without an adjoining door. Without hesitation, she looked and said, of course. She asked me how long it would take me to get my things packed up, and to call her when I was ready and she would send someone up with my new key.I thought I was going to have to haul all my things to the front desk and get a new key, etc. She made it seamless. To me, this is true customer service. They made it effortless to me. My new room was perfect. I'm only here for work, but if I'm back in the area - definitely my hotel of choice!
